Anais is the one developing TQA, a game that will use one of the endings of this one. Tess is doing some of the writing for it. Iirc, Harsha (another of the regulars around here) was asking about TQA and someone explained it in a bit more detail. Basically, Delilah is based on Anais in the same way the Tess in KG is based on...herself.

Well, considering this, it is now at least clear why a secondary character suddenly gained "immortality", joining V and Astrid. Because before that, I had no reasonable explanation for why Delilah suddenly deserved such a honor.

Yea, I was scratching my head when Delilah (who has already been shown to be very cruel and was actually planned to be available as a throuple option with Juliette and evil Kane) somehow changes course and becomes best friends with Astrid.

Kiyomi always confused me because she's shown to be all "I just follow orders but try to be honorable." Then goes full bestie with Olivia at some point and I don't remember if there was any sort of causality linked other than that one choice Olivia makes when they are about to go be police.
Really? I don't see it that way at all. I think her role as the warden has her working closely with Kiyomi so it makes sense that they spend time together and Kiyomi makes sad faces whenever an evil Olivia tells her to do something lol

Karlsson's Gambit Game Update Sept 1 2025

I am writing this post for Tess, this is Anais and I'm writing the update since she is unavailable right now. She will talk maybe on Discord later on why, I am not sure if and when sorry. Thank you to Nathan and Dante for helping me edit the post.
I am copying lots of her notes she wrote for this week on her desk which she called 9/1 roadmap notes. I am working on the game this week and don't worry I have done about 1500 renders for KG already before! So I can do it temporarily

Want to do 300 more sub path renders because current count is over 3000 renders but 1400 dom, 1100 sub, 360 secret sub. Plan finish J room/game and move to two sub scenes, Claudia dom scene last.
Content goal finish September 2025, edit two weeks after if things go well. Maybe add Claudia scene or not in Test or later version. Add two main scenes from Test --> Final Version closing out episode if time runs short. (AsCl/OK scenes) I dunno what these mean I just add what she wrote.
Steam Chinese/Portuguese (Brazilian dialect)/Russian first versions done. Japanese/French/Turkish/Italian plus 2 more second wave later.
Gallery 150 scenes done for Steam version must do more name/prune scenes by filters/search function a bit more.
V1 first wave out, V2 free upgrades for V1 purchasers within first 60 days or something maybe just do free forever not sure. V2 with bios, full galleries, like/dislike notifications and two other changes.
Chinese version in V2 will include all 9 Nathan scenes. Pending others.
Goal of 125 times 4 weeks for 500 renders with two sub scenes, rest of J, see what else is left to shoot for Sept 30.
I guess this is a lot of what she wanted to share this update and her fiance said this looks good to put out. Thank you!

Yea,Stan5851 , she admits to being Delilah at the end of this update and even uses her as an avatar during the intro to tqa. Ye,s for those that havent made it that far, there is an intro to TQA at the end of the last update.
If her goal is to have this update ready finished by this month, 300 renders sounds super ambitious.
That's a weird change from the dom path where Kiyomi basically rolls her eyes at Katsumi for acting like a dumbass.
I get the feeling that alot more characters will be gaining immortality before all is said and done or at least they wont be killed till the very end. Rendering the same scene multiple times because you have to remove characters due to player's choice would be tedious

I agree, and I think pretty much the same way...Except for the only sister, who may be killed in episode 9 (or maybe saved, if the player tries hard enough), the rest of the key characters will most likely live until the very final updates.
Well, Tess has admitted more than once that if she were technically capable of creating a large number of renders per month (1500+)...Without digging up her old posts, we can literally look at the previous devlog, where she wrote this:

I don't remember it very well, but I think it's an exclusive scene at the beginning of the game if you're playing as K3.
Kiyomi approaches you and offers you the chance to join her side, this scene involves threats.
Then again, maybe it's not that scene; however, the background and wall of the dungeon is very similar
.No, there is an exclusive k3 scene that takes place at this location where Olivia can pee on Kane (this is where the k3 men sleep after all). However, the scene I posted above actually happens earlier than that if Kane doesn't agree to be Scarlett's pet or Junko's pet when he's on the airplane. They bring him there to offer him to be the viperpet, and I guess they show him the k3 zone for some extra encouragement to say yes.
But I don't think that Kiyomi is two-faced though. Seems to me that Tess had different plans with Kiyomi initially where she was supposed to be more like her sister but then did a 180 on her and made her righteous. I posted the image below because look at her dialogue. She even used to speak like Katsumi.
