As far as anyone's been able to determine, mechanically, the only effect of Corruption in game right now is that it increases the amount of Nerd Blackmail you have to deal with every day if you don't select an edict that removes it. Aside from that, there's nothing else at the time being, or if there is, it's so hidden in some corner of the code or another that no one's seen it yet.
There's been plenty of speculation about the stat, obviously, and there's no doubt that it's going to play some part in the endings, but the details are yet to be seen. Odds are we'll know more as further levels are added to the game, and that the Nerd Blackmail thing is just the first mechanic that interacts with the stat directly.
That said... it's quite interesting that this one mechanic treats Corruption in a Negative fashion, when the majority of the options that actually add Corruption to Karryn's score are a net positives in some fashion or another, like the trinkets she can buy, which at the very least boost her Charm if they're not otherwise useful. Even options that boost Guard Aggression and whatnot can be positives on a slut-build, or irrelevant on any build that keeps pleasure and slut-level low as part of their intended goal...

Played through again, and went for the pure route, and I have to say this game need more balance. Best chance to avoid getting hentai is to fix your outfit any time it starts to slip down and to keep your encounter to 4 enemies per rest.
Unlocking money is required to be able to do this, and the only way to make it is to sell Karryn's personal information to the prisoners. Once you have done that, you'll have enough income to buy her power up abilities, but it takes forever to get your power high enough to kill the orc with out him tit fucking you.
Another issue is you can't buy certain power up with out causing the prisoners to get stronger and their is no reward for choosing to do so. In fact, you are penalized for not picking certain abilities and lose out on making tons of money if you refuse to exploit your guards and the prisoners.
I did enjoy the game, it is a challenge, but like I said, the level / power up menu system could use some tweaking for people playing light side.

The game intro literally tells you that it's designed to make Karryn fall. What you want is not going to be in the game because it goes contrary to the intent of how the game is balanced. I can understand trying for a virgin run but who plays a porn game and tries to avoid all of it then complains when they can't?
Meanwhile not that many posts ago, I have proven, that on Prisoner Mode, you can easily do the first floor, without all the things you said.
You know in this case I find that kinda weird.
Rem made a game challenging that digs out your competitive side but forces you to lose.
I can see what he was going for but to me it just doesnt work but its still early and this is all test play.
If you think I was mean or was treating people beneath me, then you are a snowflake. Pointing out simple facts and trying to show them to people, so they can learn from it, is far more helpful, then your shitty attitute so leave me alone.

i looked back again...i only saw one thing this time and ig tbh wasnt really rude tho to be fair whai thought was rude i was reading while half asleep yesterday...i still think a few things u said when u respond to some was wee bit rude but either way...and sorry for the whole ordeal...i thought you were being mean and i do get tired of seeing shitposting or bragging from anyone in the f95 community...it just gets old
I don't shitpost ever. Bragging, well I can at least see, how you could see it that way, but that is never my intention. I am trying to show people, that they are doing something wrong, whatever it is, if they think xyz is impossible. Sure it is "only" a porn game, but people still talking here and saying stuff, that is not correct and I am just trying to point that out or else I wouldn't take the time, to make posts, with Edict choices and pictures.
I don't remember that part about the intro of the game. Maybe you're referring to the speech that the doctor gave?
Literally the first thing that pops up when you select New Game is the screen that describes the design goal of the game. I don't want to know how you missed this because it would make me sad.

If you're thinking about the classic CG's, then there aren't any. There's some out-of-combat stuff (like the side jobs), but it still plays like a battle.

The options give a net positive but are gained through corrupt means. Karryn is using 'government' funds to purchase those items, not her own funds. Its a sneaky thing since so many gamers, especially RPG gamers, are conditioned to think of your cash as literally your cash.
Corruption is when you compromise laws and/or morals to make your job easier. Accessories or luxuries give you a small but significant tactical advantage, but they're a blatant misappropriation of prison funds for personal gain. Exploiting your prisoners (or their visitors) is a functional solution to your budgetary problems, but it's also a misuse of your authority for profit. Even something like opening the bar, it helps you keep your subjects in line and makes a lot of money, but it works against the very purpose of the prison and feeds into the problem you and the emperor were here to investigate in the first place, before the rioting started.
Taking all the corruption edicts makes it much easier and safer for you to achieve your primary goals here, but what happens after you finish level 5? Can you proudly report your success to his majesty after you broke every law the empire has about proper operation of a prison facility? Can you go back to being the imperial secretary when you're in deep with multiple organized crime groups, and grown accustomed to treating your subjects like slave labor in order to pay for a life of luxury?

You get in Karryn's Prison ? You stay the fuck in Karryn's Prison.
Maybe it would be cliche just like all Japanese rpg games ending: If you keep yourself "clean" then you could go back to your previous job, or in "50/50" and willingly stay in the prison and rule over the place with all the prisoners and guards become your sex toys or the number 3- become a cum dumpster cheap whore for all of them to use
