Just go to youtube, there are plenty of videos with step by step guides on how to hide it.
I tried it out and works, was worried about the same tbh.

Doesnt work because steam requires you to enter your real adress and stuff
It don't work with VPN. The only way i know is to buy a steam key and activate it. But where do you get a key from? Sad.
