That depends on the type of mod reallyNot exactly true a poorly written mod can corrupt the game enough to were a reinstall is the only way to fix it. But it is rare to have happen.
Usually if a mod doesnt touch anything of the base game files then there is really no way it can corrupt the game files
For something like complete overhauls of the game then it's a bit more risky but usually not even that can corrupt the game
But i dont think this applies to karryn's prison since most of the the mods are cosmetics
