tony_redgrave is right, both difficulty and Dilan's energy level affect the battles. Hard and Very Hard do not reduce enemy level but will make "saving throws" harder.
Here's how exactly if I got this right. Each enemy is generated with Dilan's ELVL and then has their level adjusted according to difficulty but has a minimum level. For example, Bit Serious Noo will always be at least level 20 even if Dilan's energy level is 1. Also note that this has no effect below energy level 10 (regardless of difficulty) and that some items will further reduce enemy level. Will add a table for this too - so it is in fact harder, even on very easy, to defeat some enemies if Dilan is level 9 or less.
Also adding the stuff like debuffs and whatnot but tables are screwing things up by default, heh. Gotta use BBcode.
