This is a full installable game not just your normal now-a-days RenPy VN/game.
This is how all keepable games/vn should be.
When I try to unzip the RAR file I get this error at around 90%
Data error : Katawa Shoujo HD\game\video\tc_act2_emi.mkv
and cannot complete the download.
I am very interested in playing such a highly rated game, but emphatically refuse to run any program that will prompt a warning from my comp regarding allowing the executable to make changes. I had been hoping this would be a way around that.

How about downloading it from the website? Unless you also don't like installing things that are from the makers of the game

It containes only part of 3 stories and only Lilly's and the "Hanako's" endings with Hanako's several dark endings and 1 good ending that hints that she is pregnant. (This is not in the standard game.)
If you want the complete story then play the standard and get the walkthrough so you can play through all 5 girls good, bad and neutral endings.
(I don't remember but I do believe that 1 of the girls only have 2 endings good and bad, the bad ending could be considered neutral though.)
Lilly's story has more after the credits roll at the end so don't stop at the credits.

I've had this VN downloaded since 2018 on my computer, and I've only recently got around to ACTUALLY reading it. Read it at my own leisure with a guide. Man.
I can't express how much I love and hate this game. I've never felt emotions like this playing a game. Every girl had something to offer. I feel so empty after playing this. Exhausted. Sad. Yet happy I was able to find and play it. But it hurts at the same time. Ugh. Best game I've ever played. The stories are amazing.

In the many times I visit the story, I've always been closer to Emi for the choices, she really ended up becoming my first choice over time, being the second Shizune.
I'm trying for the "secret" Kenji CG for getting all of the endings, I've gotten all of the endings, but when I played through the Kenji route I only got 1 CG, do I need to 100% the library or something?
Edit: nvm, I went back and 100% the library and now I can see the last CG, just a cute pic of all the girls together. I was hoping it was extra story or something but nope.

Some developers take the "novel" part of VN way too seriously. Hard to fap when words are constantly being vomitted all over the screen.
