Some mods love to throw the abandoned tag since technically 3 months without updates is enough to use it, but some games just have inconsistent updates.

Just to be pedantic .. mods don't throw anything around. If someone (anyone can report a game/thread for a tag) reports the game/thread as abandoned, and it meets the criteria (no updates from the dev for 3 months on here or Patreon), then a mod may place the abandoned flag on the thread. This game has never met that qualification, as the dev has never gone 3 months without a post/update. Yes there have not been an update to the game for some time .. but the reasons have been explained by the dev and meets all the criteria for a non-abandoned game.

kind of wish they would toss abandoned tags more often lots of VNs go 6 months or more with out updates to the VNs but they say im working on it. In the long run i don't care too much i just go to another VN not like there isnt a lot of porn VNs here

It wouldn't change nothing in this case, Inkalicious stated clearly why KRB is taking so long, and he didn't give any update term date, when he will finish the new chapter he will upload it, just have patience.
And there's tons of other game to play in the meantime.

On that I agree totally with you, but we can't do nothing if not have patience and wait for Inkalicious, I know it's difficult but honestly I prefer to wait and have a quality game instead of something rushed.

Interesting take. I took a break from Now & Then, cause it got a bit too dark for my liking. This one seems quite a bit lighter to me. Maybe it's because this MC is just a kid, and the choices seem to carry less weight so far. Or maybe it's the writing style? I don't know but I enjoy this game more cause it does not make me feel as depressed as Now & Then has with its last few updates.
Also real family fun times is better than the fake-cest.

I think the post you replied to meant that Now & Then is tamer in a sexual sense. Which I would agree with, Kindread is a lot dirtier in dialogue and cg during (and outside of) sex scenes, in current and upcoming kink content as well.

This is good video. Just two things I don't like:
1 - The rendering program used is too low end. The textures are very low quality and the models are too low poly.
2 - Zombies. Fuck zombies. You can make your end of the world creatures be anything. Why boring old zombies? You could have rabid monkeys instead. Now that would've been interesting.

Creating a high-quality game requires a long time, abandoning personal life, a powerful computer and monetization of this project. And in my opinion, an apocalypse with zombies is better than an apocalypse with wagtails mutant ninjas or aliens from Uranus. And the obnoxious nature of the sister creates a more complete sense of her kinship with the MC. That's why I like her.

I just checked it out and honestly felt so vanilla. There's sooo much content story-wise for how long it is, but literally skipped through so much even the sex scenes because it was just more of the same. Had one (1) slightly kinky scene that didn't matter and only a couple hints and teases at a threesome even though all the girls know you are hooking up freely. Definitely prefer more Redburns QQ

Exactly. If there's something I've learned on this forum, it's that a game can have all the right components but still be shit because of bad writing. Inkalicious is what makes the game great. All the characters feels real. The story and progression feels believable.

There's also a lot of confidence in the slow cook aspect of the story. A lot of developers wouldn't have the balls and would rush straight into a threesome. No regard to any realism on how it would even happened. Played a lot of those games. It's immersion breaking.

Basically, no way in hell would I play it if someone else took over. Inkalicious is supreme.
