I saw it earlier today too. Honestly, i will need some time to figure out my thoughts on this of if i even feel anything about the matter.

But there are a lot of implications or questions that naturally arise at least:

So Monsinne apparently has enough time for a side project now, even tho he said he is planning to make the next part of the filler for KoD a "big one" and each time he said this, the writing took over 4-5 months.
Does he have more free time now? Will this slow down KoD even further?

If he wanted to write a bimbo MC, the other artist's style works a lot better for it than KoD's base concept and Sabia's already established personality.

Then again, i'm just not happy about a League based game having a foreboding start.

And last, but definitely not least. will Monsinne just jump ship and leave Hreinn?
If that happens then there is a small, but real chance that he gets replaced and KoD gets a writer who doesn't push a poorly executed bimbofication and doesn't use 2 synonyms of "bitch" as 50% of the written text. I wouldn't bet on it just yet, but that is still a possibility.

Oh, right! I completely forgot about that Monsinne was slowed down by family problems, but now after a month of delivering a patch for KoD he proudly steps forward with another game he wrote.

Which begs the question: If one Monsinne writes 5000 words in 8 months, then how many Monsinnes write a new game in one month?

Maybe the real granpa was the games we made along the way. Or however the saying goes.

Well, I see 3 possible outcomes here seeing that Monsinne made a new game.

Monsinne pisses off and we maybe get a new writer and we have a chance at redemption.

Monsinne pisses off and the games dead.

Monsinne stays and the games dead.

Bruh... yeah idk, I guess this change nothing, since we always knew Monsinne was a liar, but I could never guess he had the balls to admit it, congrats Monsinne, you finally admit to be a scammer

OK, first off, some forum etiquette. Avoid posting multiple times in a short span with no one else posting in between them. You can use the edit button to add/ change your post. There is some leeway, mostly if you have gotten new information or it's been a while between your posts.

As for the game, it's technically being updated, but very slowly with low quality updates. Odds are high it'll never actually be finished, and currently the artist is MIA, so there's been no new art in the game for like a year and a half (IIRC).

Was there any mention of Monsinne's new job on the discord?
Considering the fact that the next patch is still a filler, he is almost exclusively responsible for it's release date. So, unless i'm mistaken somehow, any time he puts into working on the other game is a direct delay for KoD's next update. Monsinne doesn't have to wait for Nomo yet, because any new stuff he is drawing won't be used until the patch after the next one.

Speaking of which:

Happy 5 year anniversary to the last update without sketchy art!

if i talked to all captains and declined all of their alliances is that it? i cant go back and speak with them again? i wanted to hear each guy's offer first

It's been a while, but at first they offer you gifts to win your cooperation. You are free to decline or accept any and all of them. What they want from you in exchange is to testify a certain way in the trial. This will determine the alliance.
The details will be told again when the trial actually starts, the only important thing is to be done with the tests to join the tribe in 18 days to get the option for best results, after that just help anyone you want to.

There is also a solo route where Sabia tries to go solo without any alliance.
