But it's those high, highs of the early days of the project that have managed produced this level of disappointment.

I'm never not going to be surprised at how many patrons projects with bi-annual updates get, specially when the content being delivered doesn't even come close to something that's at an acceptable level of quality.

The fact that I've seen Karryn's Prison come up and get finished before KoD even made it to V0.2 would be hilarious if it wasn't so depressing, KP will even get DLC before that. Saria Reclaimed is a game made by one guy and he's been dishing out massive monthly updates all by himself and that game's quality is impressive. There are a few other games that I've seen that have started and finished development in these few years, most of which delivered great products that have been quite enjoyable.

So then I look at KoD and there are 3 people working on it with Patreon bucks pouring in for over 5 years, yet it still feels like it'll be another decade before it moves on to V0.5, what exactly keeps those patrons going? I Imagine if they stop funding, the devs will either apologize and work properly, or they'll scrap the project, but I think I'll take that over having it stay as a Patreon cashcow.

This is more or less the reason I have tried to avoid getting involved with games that haven't at least made it to V0.5 or higher, it's getting invested into something with too uncertain a future, and in this case, I don't see KoD making it to V1.0 within my lifetime, though I'd love to be proven wrong.

Can someone explain how the bonus pack shit works? I know JDMod has fanfic scenes, and the devs sometimes release bonus scenes, art packs, and variant packs. But, is each pack different? I downloaded bonus pack 10 and it had the same gallery as bonus pack 12, so what gives? Am I missing something here?

I don't know if this going to help but maybe you should try looking a few pages back. I would have had a save I am missing domination scenes with Dajrab and Rokgrid 2 scenes. I planned on unlocking all the scenes but I got tangled in a situation so I stopped playing the game. I have unlocked all sub scenes if you are interested in them I could lend you my save but like I said before Domination scenes are not unlocked after the Honored Festival.

No, just very slow development.

When you downliad Pack 12 you have to click on New Game, not on Gallery
And l could play history no Canons KOD are voted by Patrons
JDMOD still not updated x see Pack 12 in Gallery

Oh for fuck sake how did I not try that... Thanks, gonna go give it a quick look and see what's in there.


So Bonus Pack 12 has all the previous bonus packs included, what about the art packs? Is each one unique? If so, I couldn't find a 'collection' of them, do you just kind of scour the thread till you find all 12?

Does non include art.

Saves from both the user/appdata/roaming/... and the games own saves folder, not sure which is the correct way to transfer saves.

Sub Sabia completed to the current end. Dom Sabia (console edited part way from sub Sabia I think) maybe completed to the current end. Its been so long since I last played, cant remember fully. The gallery is fully unlocked though.
