Two way I know of
1. When you already have the game open use shift + G key to get this screen>

Switch the Renderer to one of the other choices. (Force ANGLE2 Renderer worked for me)
Exit out complete and reopen.
If you don't already have the game open, then hold the shift key when you open the exe.

2. See if the are any updates for your graphics card.

What's your screen resolution and you play on pc?

Thanks for helping the other people out, sadly I can't reproduce this error on my pc i'm running 3840x2160

I can on mine.
OS: Win7 64bit
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6450, Screen Res 1360x768
Since I don't feel flush enough to update/upgrade I went looking around in renpy docs

So many people asking the dev about news, since he's not providing info "soon" as he mentioned. Who would have thought this would happen, after all, this never happened, neither another game of his was abandoned due the same thing.

No one could ever predict this indeed, what a shame, completly random events.
