the biggest downside so far to me, is the voice acting continues when you click next in the dialogue, nobody reads as slow as the voice acting talks
I generally see that as an advantage. Also for the reason you stated. Even if I then wanna wait for the VA, I may have already been able to read a few lines of the opposing party or narration.
Or it was interrupted by the next VA line, but ya know.
Still ... let's just say I often don't wait for VA either, but then the above behavior won't matter either way.
