It went abandoned because the developer went radio silent, so anyone outside of discord had no idea if the game was still alive, so mods labeled the game abandonedIt has been about half a year
"damn, this game doesn't cater to my tastesMan... This is one of the first porn games I played but left when I realized it was all furry lol. Hopefully one day there will be female humans in the game. If not, well I find the idea of playing a a kobold trying to get stronger interesting at least.
Forgive if it came out wrong, but I never meant it should change direction. I simply meant that I would like if more content I particularly enjoy was added."damn, this game doesn't cater to my tastes
I hope it will change its direction to cater to my tastes"
The one that came before this one.No idea which is your "previous version", but you can find out yourself pretty quick.
You don't even need to download anything, Just go to play online, and it has all possible milestone listed, as well as all scenes in the gallery
2.99 just came out last monthI wonder if this game is still continuing, been a fan of it for a while and waiting for the build-up. Haven't seen any update lately so this is kind of sadge
What IS new in 2.99 by the way? I started again, but it didn't seem to be advanced in any direction it wasn't already, and changelog here just wrote N/A too.2.99 just came out last month
No new content, gameplay wise. It does has new art, a standalone desktop version, and an apk for android. What IS new in 2.99 by the way? I started again, but it didn't seem to be advanced in any direction it wasn't already, and changelog here just wrote N/A too.
So a year long silence followed by a non-update? Irritating, but at least we know something is happening I suppose.
I mean, backend stuff is important, else the game you're working on can be stuck in a bit of a pickle like for No Haven. Bedlam needs to convert it to twine so the game can run much better and be easier to edit and add stuff as RAGS was never meant to do what it does, and it does show. However, Bedlam(the game dev) doesn't seem to work on it much and instead continues to add more and more content to the Janky RAGS version instead of hiatus for Twine so he doesn't lose Patreon supporters. This makes the conversion harder as more content has to be converted and recoded. So a year long silence followed by a non-update? Irritating, but at least we know something is happening I suppose.
Yeah I understand there's a lot more to game development then just adding shiny new things. I've dabbled (very lightly) with coding before so I realize tinkering around under the bonnet takes time. It is still a bit frustrating that there is nothing new content-wise, but as I said previously at least we now have some confirmation that things are still moving along.I mean, backend stuff is important, else the game you're working on can be stuck in a bit of a pickle like for No Haven. Similarly, this executable conversion was/is required to put KA on the next level, and doing that along with possible updates would similarly put the full continuation and advancement of the game to an even slower pace.
As much as a relative Hiatus sucks, it's a lot better than putting the game in a limbo for the short term.
