A lot of people seem to like this game. I guess I kinda get it. Botan is sexy. It's nice how she has big boobs and that the art is nice. And the basic battle-sex system makes the combat more sex-related than the combat in most porn games that have combat. That said, the rest of it is just so barebones that there's not much to say. You beat some guards, Botan gets screwed but then beats everyone and happy ending. Meh.

So whenever I boot up the game, it seems like it's stuck going up and left. Trying to go down to resume game immediately gets sent back to start new game, and even if I do manage to go the the saves menu, I can't choose anything other than save 1 or 2. Any fixes?

I didn't know there was going to be a sequel, the only thing I know is that an "anime" came out, I don't remember how many EPs but I remember that it follows a different story from the game

Never really clicked for me either, but believe it or not, a lot had to do with the battle rape nonsense which I don't mind usually but it bothered me here. But hey I think any game that uses the combat system of Rhodes Fotress(a game lots of people love) Is trash too.

I like it for the hot minigame concepts... seriously, tony hawk pro skater balance minigame, but for not watching your shadow clones get fucked?!

Wich by the looks of it, won't be released anytime soon. For the last 3 months i think, he is only posting progress for another game and i think the sequel its on hold for now. So like what another person told me at the start of this year: " don't get youre hopes up, it will probably be released in 2023" . Then again, i don't know japanese and i only use google translate to understand the posts so i may be wrong. I actually hope i am wrong cause i am looking forward to his next game.

I also doubt he dropped the project cuz it seemed like he was pretty far along in the development by the time he stopped posting about it. Here are some of the screenshots he posted of his progress. Someone help me find it please.

Its not released since its not on dlsite so its probably a project that he stopped working on or its on hold. For example, he started with kunoichi botan 2 and then mid developement he put it on hold and now its working on another smaller game. Dunno what he is doing...eighter he got burned out of ideeas for the game or he is testing a new engine...Guess only time will tell or someone who reads his ci-en posts and knows japanese so he can translate.

Oh okay, I know from translating his tweets that sometime after he released Kunoichi Botan he had a patreon site or some sort of site that subscribers could get his content on and he said that the site stopped working and he got on the DLsite so I figured that he must have released it but its just got lost in translation somewhere. That would suck if he really did drop the project tho.
