Have to localize your pc to Japanese, did it and worked fine for me. Same error and everything, mainly waiting for it to get translated to english.

There's a machine translation (story is pretty unreadable, but at least you know what to do as the menus are translated) on svscomics, but the TrpParticles.json is messed up. You can't play without an error message showing every 5 seconds. You can click it away, but the problem is that the game uses loading screens, which get interrupted and restart when the error message shows. It's essentially a soft-lock.
So after combing through the file I saw the problem was that the image names were translated, but in the image file they were not. I thought it easier to fix the .json than reupload the image folder, so I did that. After that, it still showed errors. Turns out there's spaces in the coding, so instead of
"heart1;heart2;..."
it went
"heart1; heart2;..."
All in all the translation is in rough shape.
I've added my altered .json file as a fix, so you can at least try the machine translation and see where the game is going.
The forest part is interesting, it's like the game 'Inscryption', but sexual
