I was wondering as well, didn't find it at chat menu?
It's not supposed to be that straight forward in the final game and it looks like it was removed for this version. Currently the only way to give them serums are through random events:

1. Production Lab accident: girl in Production drops a sample and cuts herself on glass and asks you to stay with her to make sure she's okay. She has the effects of what you're currently producing.
2. Research Lab: When you complete a serum design, if someone is researching with you in the lab at the time you have the option of asking them to test it themselves, but only if you agree to give them a 10% raise.
3. If you have the money, you can pay for a new policy of mandatory company-wide testing.

I couldn't find any other events.

I have to imagine he's going to take Charisma into account, introduce events like dates when you can sneak samples into their food/drink, or trick them into taking it. There's also the whole central mall area that hasn't been utilized yet.

I got it, you have to purchase new business policies from office it's under 'Purchase new business policies' tab, it allows you as employer test new formulas on your employees and it's quiet expensive.

I could imagine their reviews on glassdoor.com:

[No Offer] [Negative Experience] "HR requested full body photos, didn't hear back. Is this legal?"
[Accepted Offer] [Neutral Experience] "Fun place to work, but CEO is kind of rapey."

Maybe it is a combination of things. Also, it is far too early to have marketing. You can sell all of your product in the evening. HR is more important than marketing. Paperwork/efficiency is an all day affair(you still do all the hiring).
Yeah, but if I have a girl in that slot, I can't forget to do it and end up not making money :)

Also, not all employees are equal. I need 6 girls procuring to keep up with the 5 I have producing. I have 1 in HR, and 1 Marketing. They all work from early morning until night. At times, I had less producing, and had 2 researchers, but I didn't hire HR or Marketing unil I had a few producing.
Like you say, still early days and I was trying to ramp up gradually.

Still, losing money when the game reports a profit is major problem however you slice it.

It doesn't make sense to keep anyone full-time in marketing, especially in the beginning, and especially since you seem to need to manually mark stuff for sale. I basically just let my funds get down to about $100 or dip into the negative (they let you slide and you only lose if you're below zero for multiple days), and then send one of my Procurement girls to do sales for me for one time segment while i do something else. (As long as you keep an eye out for someone with 5 focus and strong Procurement and Marketing skills while hiring).

It's a little more time intensive, but only really happens every few days, and you don't need to have anyone twiddling her thumbs collecting a paycheck constantly.

You can set an auto-sell threshold where any stock over a certain number automatically gets marked for sale.

So in order to get a harem ending I need to make her an exibitionist?? Because the tag says you need to make her a cam girl and that can only happen after the porn website event.
I havent looked at the code for the endings to seriously yet, but to be honest with you I was NEVER able to get the "end" of the game to work correctly for some reason.. weird things always seemed to happen and to be honest I never pursued it.. yet lol. IE I had an ending that ALL of the girls except one should have been preg except 1 by his formula - and should have gotten the harem ending.. I got the preg ending for 1 girl, 2 of the special endings and 2 generic ones.. then the game went ahead to day 121 and gave me completely different endings, then day 122 it gave me what I SHOULD have got by the numbers I saw on day 120 .. Im no scripting expert myself.. so it takes me a little longer than others to figure all the finer details out.. but there is definitely something off in the endings.. I saw a few others make posts similar to my situation on his Patreon page.. but I never saw any resolutions.. The only reason I know a lot of the code mid story level at this point is I liked his original game and started following him on Patreon etc.. and I've decided for my own learning curve to do my own little "overhaul" of it and maybe share it out once its a little more fleshed out. Adding a few more twists and turns with the girls and where you can go with them.. and just now started working on new and additional renders to freshen up the appearance.. was really hoping for him to share his HS cards .. he teased it a bit a while back, as I would like to go ahead and use HS to keep more in line with the original game.

My "success" was based on 0.2. The new version clipped my wings a bit, but I'm building up again. It sucked that saves didn't carry over, but I suppose that can be expected in early development.
I think you are right about former employees still drawing a salary. I had to go back to a previous save because I had a first day quitter that kept getting paid. It is definitely a bug that needs working out. If you can give them some serum, you can slut the unhappiness away and get them to stay, but that only works if you have bought the Mandatory Employee Testing upgrade.

I discovered there's a business policy that makes it so that all your new hires have 10 suggestibility right out of the box. So you can slut them up without needing serum.

Also, I think part of the problem is that the nightly report doesn't list expenses due to procurement.
I don't think it's the whole story, but is probably something that should be listed.

The downside with suggestibility right now is that while suggestible, compliments that normally give happiness also reduce obedience for some reason, which is really odd. As far as I can tell, outside of random scripted events like forcing a girl to strip during the tax scene, there's no way to increase obedience.

V0.3.0: Does the MC have body odour or something? New hires are considering quitting the same day they're hired!

[edit]

Compliment their work is the answer. Don't worry that they haven't done any yet, just lay it on thick until they get to happines 110 or so.
I think this might be a bug, girls will quit if happiness-100 is smaller than 0, but obedience >100 is supposed to stop that. The problem is that currently it just adds obedience-100 to the score, which means that if obedience is below 100 they'll be 'unhappy with their job' despite being at 100 happiness.

Expense reports would be nice, as would being able to see all stock listed in the same place, and attributes for all serums listed in one place. One way to gauge procurement is to compare it to production at the top of the nightly report. You want to get it as close to even as possible. One option is to set your serum supplies lower in the main office. Once you reach that number, it should trigger a red alert that you aren't procuring. Move one of the girls to production for a while. A better fix is to leave procurement alone, and hire another production employee, so you have better balance.

Business Improvements that increase quality of employees are well worth it, as is the Mandatory Serum Testing. I bought Bigger Batch (4), then Serum Testing, then Suggestibility(these 2 probably could have been reversed), then Higher Stats, then Higher Obedience. I invested in a few Improvement courses, but most girls were left with what they came with. My staff may not be the prettiest, but they are efficient little sluts.

One trick I learned to maximize potential is to make sure girls are relatively happy with either bribes or orgasms, then catch them downtown in the early morning or at night. Insult their work (-4 Happiness), then assign them to a new division. You can reassign them to the same division, if you want. After that, they work all 5 turns, instead of just 3. You may have to bribe them again, or give them serum if they get too upset, but unless you did it too soon, it shoud work like a charm.

Tbh I kinda wish he worked on making animations for the first Lab Rats, this one doesn't look too interesting in my opinion. Then again it's still basically a tech demo. But still, Lab Rats with animated sex scenes would have been amazing (and have a huge file size).
