Yeah, that's been a complaint since day one along with the appearance of the models in general.
Has the dev said anything about updating the models? Seems like this game would be perfectly playable without the........ questionable visuals.
It is playable, definitely. As far as the models, I'm not sure if the dev himself has said anything, but it has been discussed on and off here and most seem to think we're too far into development to redo the models, which simply isn't the case. I've had cases where I had to go back and redo models from the very beginning of the game while development as a whole was almost complete. It is never too late to change something minor like that, minor as far as overall impact anyway.
There's a site that features only sex scenes with realistic models. It's called pornhub.reading the changelog, it does seem like another pointless update that barely makes much change. surely the time spent fiddling with the things nobody takes issue with would be better spent doing something about the things people DO.
with better assets, like even those from LR1, would make this game more popular and more story.
this is just a complete reputation killer after the success of the first game. reading the 'puff-piece' changelogs is becoming more entertaining than the game
I wonder if it's possible to have a range of quality in modeling between average at best and real pornography?
There isn't a version released for the newest release yet, but I'd highly recommend playing with this mod which adds a bunch of features and stability improvements. It also turns off animations by default, which I believe fixes a lot of the weird rendering issues people have had. I'm currently playing last version w/ mod + animations off and it runs great.
