Also, something is fucked up about the sex option choice menu in 43.1, downshifted or something. Bottom few buttons are cut off, can't grope anything... dunno if this is a bug, but how did Vren manage to fuck that up?

I've worked around this by altering on line 209 in gui.rpy:
-define gui.choice_button_height = 125
+define gui.choice_button_height = 100

Save don't work from 1 version to the next most of the time so your out of luck for a save for at least another week or two that will work for this update.

who wants to play a game that looks like crap? great at creating complexity but utterly clueless at all aspects of entertainment. i bet this guy is a joy at dinner parties explaining how the fork was invented
I will say this again. I like this game and I think it has potential to be something great and really fun but it needs a serious overhaul and better mechanics and yeah especially more and better faces, clothes, hairstyles, bodies etc. Yeah I've been trying to keep up with it too. However I feel like most of the time it's just a grinding fest even with cheats, a management system and not a porn game and and every update it's the same thing over and over again. Many ways I find the first Lab Rats much better and more fun and nothing tops my favorite, Lust and Power except however I enjoyed that new game "Red Cloak" with Supergirl in it. Lol. Yeah sometimes it seems they are utterly clueless what is entertainment and fun. I really don't know what happened. Lol

The game won't run on joiplay without the mod.
The same thing happened to me while I was trying to run 42.1 version without the mod.
After installing the game mod and bug fix from the modders, it runs okay, except that I still get everyone to have blue/brown faces though.

i havent managed to get anyone pregnant yet BUT i have a question for anyone that may of gotten somebody pregnant
does it show up on detailed information?i know in past games it never did so wondering now if thats since been fixed?
wish it would show pregnant OR not pregnant in detailed information everything else is so dont see why not this too?
UPDATED: well i just got told from 2 girls that they are pregnant and so of course i checked their detailed profile and of course it DOESNT say that thay are pregnant..as old as this game is ya would think with all the updates,etc that pregnancy stuff would be finally added in detailed info seems retarded that its not

About 10 days after the deed that got her pregnant the girl will let MC know that she is pregnant.
About 30-40 days first belly pop will happen then about 40-60 more days and she will give birth.
(((My numbers will be off because most of the time I use serums to speed up the pregnancy.)))
I use the mod and it lets me know when the girls are pregnant and how many days are left till they give birth.
The dev needs to lock in his long term structure and start progressing the stories. He puts in a lot of time and effort, and I truly appreciate it, especially compared to many of the devs who milk their patreons. It is time to focus on story here, and stop tweaking all of the game mechanics constantly. I know he wants to create something special, but I have always been a supporter and I am beginning to lose my patience.

i understand how the pregnancy system works...what i DONT understand however is WHY when we click on detailed information
on their char info,etc it doesnt say that they are pregnant ..just seems stupid.
you would think for someone that went through all that trouble adding the button DETAILED that it would be exactly that DETAILED
otherwise might as well of just left their profiles with out THAT button ,,DETAILED pretty self explanatory
SHOULD of been as follows
pregnant=no and if they are then pregnant=yes (plain and simple )every other trait,etc is there WHY not this?

I don't understand the need to keep redesigning the backend. Add more crisis events and story with the main characters.
Do you know if he's gotten feedback on these features he's tweaking? Like, has anyone complained about core slutiness or is it just vren changing it for his own reasons?

I don't know if Vren has said anything about it and myself have no strong opinion about the sluttiness redesign (it was working fine as was), but I do think the trance/trainable mechanic is a significant development, giving the player more leeway to craft their own sluts. It is also, however, a bit fiddly and could do with a way to do things at scale rather than individually, like many other things in this game.
I'm not convinced of the wisdom of tying everything to the MC's "clarity" (weird term btw.), but willing to see where it goes—provided it goes somewhere eventually.

Oh he did at the beginning, especially coming from Lab Rats originally. My take on him, from Lab Rats where within two updates while he was still developing it I sent him text changes and corrections that were the same for quite a few updates, he never implemented them. I even made it within the Script files so all he needed to do was import into the source, but nothing. He likes feedback for things he likes, but ignores it for anything he doesn't want to work on.
LBII was meant to be a management focus instead of straight pr0n and it was cool at the time it was originally designed, 4 years later and still no visual changes to even get back to the original Honey Select art - or improve on it - is just sad.
