And again i need to ask how to finish research with console commands faster as this grind from the start again is torturing me.....Someone please help me.
Well, life is tough isnt it? If only there was a mod that comes along with an inbuild cheat menu. Oh, there is? Yeah, okay, its not updated to the most recent vanilla version, so you miss out on the newest fancy business mechanics and the new content added to the game. Yeah, that sucks big time. Oh wait. The Mod actually adds a ton of actual content and makes the gameplay more enjoyable instead with qol features? Now its getting really tough. Vanilla game with more annoying mechanics to play around and a little bit of content, or the Mod with a LOT of new content and features that make the business part less annoying. And some handy cheat menus if you want to speed up even more. Well, the choice is yoursAnd again i need to ask how to finish research with console commands faster as this grind from the start again is torturing me.....Someone please help me.

This finishes current research project or boost trait mastery to obscene levels (this goes into 1 line in the console - to activate console look in "Console commands" further up):
mc.business.listener_system.fire_event("player_research", amount = mc.business.research_progress(9999999,999999,99999))
As always, you may want to save before trying this or any of the other console commands.
Either Vren (the Dev) doesnt like writing story content, or he values other stuff like business mechanics a lot higher. But maybe he just had better things to do than working on his game, like RL-Stuff or playing Elden RingsMay be it's just me, but I feel the content updates since last dozen or so updates are really insubstantial, when there are no need for new renders and all it needs for story progression are new lines of codes. This is not an attack on the dev, just curious behind what's throttling the content updates. I mean the game mechanics already seem solid without needing any further tweaks.
I am an old fuck and the fact that i can still remember how to type in console commands should already give me the right to hold a trophy called "Not demented yet"Well, life is tough isnt it? Also a thanks to you for helping me out here as well. After a reinstall i used this but it doesn't seem to do anything. Or i am just not capable of doing it correctly. From the console commands list linked in the OP
You sound like someone who never coded anything professionally.Boring update I hope he puts more brainwashing and endgame stuff into the game then all these refactors and rebalances that just waste dev time. Over the last 4 updates we got a little bit of character development and some kind of milking duty while the rest is filler.
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to play Lab Rats 2. The content is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of biochemical R&D and supply chain logistics most of the mechanics will go over a typical gamer's head. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of the gameplay, to realise that they're just not fun - they say something deep about SERIOUS BUSINESS. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those thirsty gamers scratching their heads in confusion trying to find the porn content as Vren's genius business simulation unfolds itself on their monitors. You sound like someone who never coded anything professionally.
True bro. Unfortunately I also belong to the group of people who doesn’t know batshit about the game’s business model & its mechanicsTo be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to play Lab Rats 2. HIGH FIVE!
Not that I disagree with the criticisms, but asking for more content while scoffing at buxfixes while the game is an almost unplayabe buggy mess is the wrong order. Adding upon messy code leads to a big pile of spaghetticode. That would just increase the amount of fixes that would have to come later. The sooner the code gets tidied up the better in the long run.The content is extremely subtle

There really isn't much endgame content... yet... so if you don't enjoy the increasing complexity of the business mechanics I suggest keep reading the update changelogs until you read about some content that you want to play (which is all I do) and support it if you enjoy it. The latest Jennifer content sounds interesting so I'll play but I super don't care for the grind if there isn't a substantial payoff.True bro. All I do is use codes to get the NPCs corruption/love high and then fuck them.
When I go to Main office, I randomly click everything. Get business funds with codes and maxed all perks. I tried to understand the business mechanics but after trying for like 15 mins, everything went right over my head so I gave up!
Frankly speaking, even I want to play the properly but even the guides I found here make my head spin!
I wish there was some simple guide which explain point wise on what to do step by step which could make me understand all this crazy stuff!
I really want to play this game without cheats but I’m unable to which is damn frustrating!! I can’t even get a good fap thinking about it!!![]()

There is a GitHub for the Main game? Or are you refering to the unofficial Bugfix? If anyone takes a look at the GitHub pages for both the main game and the mod, you will see changes being done pretty much every single day. Almost never a day goes by without at least some changes, even if minor like fixing a typo. Nice to be able to see real-ish time work being done on a game like that.
And if you're REALLY adventurous, you can download said updated bits of code and try to play them. Pull down the released version, then add in the changes. Usually works, sometimes breaks. I did it from v46 all the way up to 49 without issues, then the Ren'Py update forced me to start over. Of course, it means I have to dig into the code everytime I pull down their new versions so I can put back in my personal tweaks. I don't know what demographic Vren is looking at, but I can't say I've seen that many women IRL that average 5'11".
