solid update but way too much over exuberance and exclamation points in the dialogue for my liking
There are people who skip any story content and went straight to the fappable stuff. They mostly complain about short updates. :FeelsBadMan: Just ignore them XDwhat r u talking about? did u even played 1.4? i gues not cuz then u dont ask stupid questions XD monthly updates and these are not small ones.
Well, I don't know about that tbh. Though I agree people shouldn't complain. There are people who skip any story content and went straight to the fappable stuff. They mostly complain about short updates. :FeelsBadMan: Just ignore them XD
Ya, you see, these guys making those games, mostly have jobs to pay their bills. Not every one of these Devs getting pledges like Mr.Dots. Dr.Sin(LewdLab), etc. They possibly have just average Hardware (which lenghtens rendering time enormously), or they have just time on weekends.Well, I don't know about that tbh. I think any update that contains less than one hour of gameplay is "short," but that's just one opinion. Maybe you're right, or maybe there's just people like me who are addicted to these games and don't find 20 minutes of content to be sufficient, lol. Anyway, being constructive and stating that you're interested in longer episodes is one thing, bitching is just unnecessary... especially when we all have the option to just wait until the games are finished before playing.
Nop. I updated the post twice. Official was there since i uploaded the 1.4 version. It was 1.3 when I wrote it. Somebody updated it to 1.4 now.
Of course they have jobs. And shit, game development isn't exactly a simple project. I know it takes months. Think of my comment as a matter of personal preference: If I were making a game, my plan would be to break it into 2-4 parts at the most, even if it took spending months between releases. But don't get me wrong my dude, LBH is in my top 10. I love this game and plan to support it both verbally and monetarily, if possible. I just probably wont be continuing my playthrough until it's near complete or fully completed.Ya, you see, these guys making those games, mostly have jobs to pay their bills. So yes, lenght/playtime varies much in these kind of games. But they'll progress somehow. When you're feeling, the updates are not your taste of tea, just wait a few more months until they got further updates, and then enjoy your time you spend with these games. (as you said yourself)
PS: and yes, i have read those comments from people who said they're skipping all content except the sexscenes. I know i said it like generally. Not all are like those guys. Sry :HeyGuys:
I honestly did not see that, my bad.View attachment 123978
It's and was under the "Spoiler Official Walkthroughs"
It a civil discussion, not an argument.@fastbullet You might not want to argue with the person who actually uploaded the walkthrough when he uploaded the game. It was there in the spoiler right under the download list. But...

Why are you keep riding that dead Horse? xD it's all good, he saw his fault.Arguments can be civil.
It isn't there.
Yes it is.
It is now, but it wasn't.
Yes it was.
No it wasn't.
Yes, it was in this place.
Oh, okay, you were right.
^ LOL that's the definition of an argument. A very civil one
I think a good solution that I myself would consider is either just releasing multiple teasers or a demo to develop some early support, and then spend a few months so that I could launch a huge chunk of my game all at once. People wont get impatient if they don't even know the game exists yet I think the only problem I could think of that I'd run into is having people to test it... but I don't think that'd be needed much with VN's. Sorry for the off topic discussion btw, UncleVT, I'll wrap it up here.
No worries i never had the thought about you not would like LBH or any other Game. I bet most Devs would like to do that to, but well. People get really fast angry/impatient, when they not getting their monthly shot. Let's just have fun with these cool games. :eazyHype:
Yes, you would need a really good satisfying intro, to bring yourself onto the table, from there on, you have to be very communicative about your project, release many teasers and dev blogs to keep them interested, but yes it could work, BUT i guess many people will wait until you got some material to play before they pledge your project.I think a good solution that I myself would consider is either just releasing multiple teasers or a demo to develop some early support, and then spend a few months so that I could launch a huge chunk of their game all at once.
