I completely understand the perspective. I just don't want to run the risk of making drastic changes that take a ton of time and take months to implement (and all the while there aren't updates to the game). I also have no idea how to make a renpy game so I would have to learn that from scratch.
I'm going to keep the format as is and the genre as is and just complete the thing. I envision this being a 10-12+ hour game but once I wrap this up, THEN I'll think about reworking the game on renpy or even explore different races for the woman.
But that's way into the future.
Assuming he follows through on this - this is a perspective I wish far more devs would have.
Worry about optimization and remakes later, put out the rough draft first as a larger lump.

Though every so often I will go through the game and optimize dialogue and some coding/features the game you get now is what you can expect for the most part until the finish.
How would the mod work? Would it automatically replace any of the assets in game or would you have to update it every time I put out an update?

If I actually knew how to code I'd just make a parser which after setting an initial variable like $model = 2, each img source would automatically redirect to the filepath appended like <img src= "img/1-Intro/cafe.jpg"... ---> <img src= "img/model2/1-Intro/cafe.jpg"... but I dont
so I'm doing it by hand with conditions. I considered just replacing same filenames but I'd rather make something non-destructive so players can add or remove it at their leisure without affecting your core game.And yeah some optimization is always good, as long as you don't get bogged down in the minutae (as I sit here searching repeatedly for images of the model I want in a specific pose :X )

) Please don't listen to people claiming you *NEED* to do this or that to pander to as many people as possible and become "popular." Especially regarding the race of the wife as long as you have collected enough assets to tell your story. Imagine how boring it would be if every game looked and played the same based on what was popular at the time.Regarding Renpy, While it certainly has its advantages, Sugarcube/Twine HTML is not bad at all imo. It's lightweight (provided you use proper image compression, which also applies to Renpy) and runs on anything with a modern browser. Yes mobile browsers are less than ideal but it technically works. Almost any engine that's not RPGM is good in my book, JRPG style movement/combat(?)/loading rooms + potential grind is truly awful.
Thank you for not trying to fix what isn't broken and focusing on worthwhile updates and content instead.

It is technically a web-page/site, so if you can get it installed or copied onto the device - open it in Safari and it should work.
Looks like there are plenty of web sites that tell you how open a local web page on an Iphone/Ipad. Assuming it is not too big.
Disclaimer: I have never done this, but it should work like any local website. :>)
I did try that on my android before, but the assets weren't loading.
Don't know if that would be different on an iphone/safari.

New content was great, especially can't wait to see how the hypno path develops and Mike (and maybe Jason) take further and further control over Sofia. Cheating and Freedom paths don't have much in the way of "content" but I'm really beginning to see the corruption of Sofia taking place.
Yeah freedom and cheating are more of a slow burn since your wife wouldn't just fuck other dudes overnight. There's a process but it's getting there.
For sure, you’re making the right choice as someone who wants to make quality Content. I just speak as the eternally frustrated reader who demands authors write perfectly at a breakneck pace lol. Those paths will be awesome eventually though

Excellent update. You seem to get the varying facets of NTR perfectly in your writing. I'm super excited for the hotwife/cuckold update, the dialogue will be spicy I'm sure.
I'm seeing the Hypnosis route with Mike going down a darker path and I'm liking it.
if only you could have hypno monogamy option. Like have her do things for you like degrading, wearing plugs/vibrators, whip herself performing sx acts all day etc.
