Now that you've finished the rant.. upon further review you have to admit you've seen worse.. I mean I've seen some written stuff that I didn't understand ANYTHING they were trying to say.. and continued the game just so I could see just how incredibly horrible it was.

In general it can be said that the dev copied the story, although I think the +18 parts (sexual, NSFW, whatever you like to call it) are added by the dev since the original didn't have that. (I remember it appeared in the ADS and you can download it in the play store)

that's exactly it.
the company is more focused in romance stories, being far more tame than the games here (and I mean faaaaaaaar more tame)
but if someone look for "Laws of Attraction chapter 1" on youtube, you will see that the similarities.
in the patreon page the dev says: "i've got lots of ideas and stories which you all would love", but if Laws of Love is any indicative, it would be cheap copies as well.

I agree, either dev should clarify that this is a completely rip-off story or the project should be taken off.
Saying this in his Patreon sounds a lot like "I know tons of games to steal from!"
But if we demanded this project to be removed, which is a stolen story with original CGs, same argument would arise for the projects with original stories and stolen CGs (real porn)

There's plenty of rip-offs around here from the cringe AWAM parody games to the obvious Ai version of Summertime Saga. I gotta say though this guy is pretty bold. Even the Devs of the bad AWAM parody posted the links and gave a shoutout to the original Dev.

I agree. This whole issue is funny because we are on a pirate site commenting on pirated content.
But instinctually, it feels like it's wrong, and you want it corrected. I guess, as individuals, we have to decide what our limits are.
Giving credit to the OG DEV and the game is the right thing to do.
For me, this sucks because the proofreader in me wants to correct all those mistakes.

Maybe you're right, but I've never seen a bunch of preview pics with such a terrible English. Preview pics, man. You don't even need to launch the actual game to know there's some heavy Engrish in it
BTW, when I read your quote I realized I made a mistake in my original message.
At first I'd written I'd want to gouge my eyes out with a "spoon", but then I thought that "butter knife" would have more punch to it.
I had a brain fart and ended up writing butter spoon. Brilliant!
