Am I alone in this? I doubt it....
IF Lexi were removed from play, I would make a try for Cece, perhaps with Linda as the +2, or is it +1.... meh which ever. I know Kira and Robin would come as a unit, and that is my next choice if I could not get a Linda and Cece thruple. I will play a Steph run as I used to work for DHS, so I can empathize a bit.
Failing the above, I would try-
Cece solo
Linda solo
Robin solo
Kira solo
Holly and Steph thruple
Steph solo
Holly solo
Again, that is only if my top preferences would not work out.
If I am with Lexi and or Cece solo, I would try like hell to get Chris and Linda as an item. IF I get with Lexi I could also go for a Chris with Holly.... That actually would be great. Keeping Besties together.

So... it seems I've been playing with matches and now there's a forrest fire.

Let me link my original message to serve as a public warning.

I am not completely against the idea of a harem ending. They do get along nicely, and the chemistry is good between them. If I can get a good angle on it, I might work on something towards it. It's not a priority though, but a possibility. And it's not the fuckfest kind of harem.

The reason I said that was because when doing this story I saw them all getting along together, and thought: if there's a sensible way to do it, why not - and I put the note in my already brimmed mental ideas drawer.

But honestly after reading the pro Harem suggestions here, I'm more certain than ever that there will not be a Harem ending. Leap of Faith is about connecting with someone, choosing someone. It's not a pokemon game - you're not meant to catch them all (not in one go at least). I'm a huge fan of separating parts of the story into routes, which you will have to go through to learn more about the different girls. So if you haven't done all the routes, you may not know who the Panda is, or what's up with this d-major, the pinky thingy, Kira's party trick etc.

As far as the story is concerned, it's good and engaging, but it's not exactly an Oscar winning script.

Ok, I almost lost my morning coffee right there... Not that Titanic would have been Oscar worthy if it was missing the last half of the movie, but seriously, we're a bunch of guys and girls writing stories with adult content. Oscar comparisans are a little off. I do hope you enjoy the story though.

OMG, you are not really bothered by this I hope. Let me state something clear here. I myself am an author of theatre plays and you shouldn't give a fuck (apologise my French) about these type of comments. Personnaly I think your writing is entertaining and sometimes even really beautiful. It might not be poetry, but it leaves just the right amount of impression to get invested into the characters and that is, in my opinion, the most important reason why I like your AVN. Ok, we all know you are not going to win the Nobel price anyday soon, but who cares. I hope you don't and keep up the good work.
I really enjoy your game and think it stands out really well amongst the most of the games you will find in here. Not that that matters, you should just keep doing your own thing.

Exactly! Which is why harems make for boring stories that are neither romantic or dramatic. I like having to choose one character to pursue. It makes the game more replayable. If there is a harem ending I’d just play through once and move on.

Honestly, despite everything I've been saying, I'm not that big of a harem ending advocate in games. I don't believe all games should have it and most games make it very clear it's not something that can work and there are also very few games that I play where I like all the female characters so I can easily hone in on the ones I would like to have an ending with. However, where there are such endings possible I'll generally go for them because I think, "ah, why the hell not?", and in most cases I tend to like all the female characters so it's an easy choice to go with that path.

With this game, and I guess it's just me who feels this way, I got a very strong sense that all these people could make something work owing to several factors about how the game has played out that feel very similar to those rare harem games I enjoy. Perhaps I should have just kept my mouth shut about it when Drifty was considering it, but when I feel strongly about something I tend to go a little overboard in my advocacy and defence of it and I guess in this case it's come back to bite me in the ass.

To DriftyGames I'd just like to say that if my comments in any way offended you, then I apologise. It wasn't my intent to insult or disparage you or the game in any way, I just felt and still feel very strongly about this and perhaps was a bit too vociferous in that.

Hey Drifty, ultimately it's your story/game - tell it as you envision/want it

I did have one disturbing thought though, for those that what their Harem with extra sides of multiple partner sex acts...

to be fair to 'our' ladies, if 'our' gallant MC expects them to engage in potentially bisexual acts with him, then he shouldn't object when 'our' lovely ladies ask him and Chris to engage in quid pro quo acts for them in return. A line from a nineties movie comes to mind: "You go, we go..."

Most harem endings suck because the amount of work that has to be put into them. They then end up stereotypical, we all live happily ever after and your readers are not satisfied. I much prefer a focused ending with 2 (maybe a 3rd) characters, be it good or bad .
