her photography business, so she was letting people take pictures of her. she explains this if you choose her path. that's also why she's recognized as a celebrity in the club towards the end.
1. hmm no i played the game a few times. shock doesn't really mean anything. she never says it was matt who texted her, right? if she does, what scene is that in? like her implied prostitution, it's never ever brought up again in any path.
3. very cool!
4. ok, i'll bite. what is the logical argument for this? his father never mentions or hints at anything whatsoever relating to terrorism or anything as far as i remember. so, please explain your thoughts on this. what logic do you follow to reach this conclusion?
5. oh ok very cool.
9. this seems like it could be a retcon explanation, but even if it were true: the render/model is completely different. they look nothing alike.
11. yes. they spent over 2 weeks with lexi. but cece forgot the last three days or so. that's what they mention. they basically spend the whole summer together, they say in other scenes too. the timeline does not work as stated. not a problem but it is a small plot hole.
12. this is not a useful comment and doesn't really address the point.
I think there is some confusion on 3 and 5... He isn't asking about the papparazzi guy in the tree that the MC hits the "Hole In One" into his camera. He is asking about the military guy with the binoculars who is also with the MC's grandfather in the park. This is believed to be Steph's former partner from Homland who is still checking on them "just in case."
Also, In responce to question 6 and parts of many of the other questions, towards the end of the game Drifty had a huge issue come up with steam because of Artist.io changing their music licensing agreement's fine print and adding a tiny line that basically said that pornography violates their licensing agreement. This made all of the music in the game unlicensed and caused steam to drop the game and I believe that they even started giving back refunds. Drifty had to do tons of damage control and had to get licensing permission from each artist individually and/or change songs for the whole game. (This is why in the Limo he says that he couldn't get the song "235 Are You Alive")
It is possibly for this reason that many things that were inplimented and planned to be used or explained later were just dropped due to Drifty ending the game a bit quicker than he had originally planned. He has aluded to this being the case. If he ever came right out and said it, I don't know. This is the most commonly heald belief on the subject of things that don't seem to add up.
About question 1, I dont believe that Matt sent her a text message. I believe that he sent her a pic of her ring. she saw the picture and dropped the phone in shock because the last place she remembered it being was in her clit and he just confirmed to her that he had it. I came to this conclusion because right after this, in the chapter ending clips it shows mat with his phone, and I don't think that a simple text "hey, I found this ring on the bathroom floor last time I saw you and I know I shouldn't have taken it, but I'd like to give it back." would have had the shock value that just a pic of the ring would.
with 4, the context is there, but it is very subtle. It was better for the MC's mom if the dad went away for a while. (because his father, the grandfather, was being involved in terrorism and that put attention on the whole family) Also the grandfather saying that he can't return to his country. and that he is being watched. Also, they were watching the MC because of his father and the Money his father sent him. you have to follow the bread crums, but the trail is there.
And as for question 12, and the, take it slow with everyone but Lexi, and with Lexi being " sexually and emotionally stunted/immature" First off, all of the other LI's have issues that cause the slow down... Robin and Kira- they are a couple and he is either joining or getting in the midst of them. Cece, she is fighting her own demons and he is doing everything he can to help. Linda, they have emotional baggage from high school, but they still hit it off pretty quick. Steph, there are trust and betrayal issues there. Holly, you have to go through/betray Lexi just to get her. so they all have natural road blocks. With Lexi, it's more wirlwind, which seems fitting because Lexi herself is a bit of a wirlwind. Also, the MC is just as stunted/immature as Lexi. He's had one real girlfriend, and she broke his heart and left him two years ago(no wait, a few years ago, no wait they have been over for a long time, no wait...everytime we read about how long ago it was it was a not the same)
For question 11, it's a timeline issue, don't get bogged down with timeline issues in this story or you will go crazy.
If you really want to ask a good question, how about asking about the timeline of the story itself?
Best as I can figure they all spent 6 years in High School, and then he spent 2 years working in the sewers, and now he's still a couple of years older than he should be, and by all accounts and reconing Steph should be at least 6 to 8 years older than him to have been a homeland agent. She looks pretty good for 30.
