I overlooked the tag, but if it's yet more stepcrap or incest that the MC himself doesn't take part in (ie he doesn't fuck his sister or similar) then it doesn't count. It's then just fake clickbait. And the MC is supposed to be an ADA so I find it unlikely, but crazier things than lawmakers breaking their own laws happen all the time I guess.
I suggest you play it first before making such statements.

So, just to be clear on routing... you can't have sex in the bar's bathroom when meeting Malena to later get with Emmaline? Just to clarify if that's true for both encounters, or only the second possible one (after fight).

they are friends and tell each other about MC. If you are interested in Emmeline iirc Malena won't fuck you, and vice versa. And if you fuck Malena in the bathroom she tells Emmeline about it, so she obviously wouldn't go for the MC after that (and her route is already locked out by that point anyway). But it's been a while and I try not to mix routes so I could be wrong. You can sorta play the field with the other girls since they don't really know each other, but with these two being friends that wouldn't be possible.

Kind of, but it actually works the opposite way: in order to have sex with Malena in the bar's bathroom (I'm talking about the evening when you first meet her), you must be already out of Emmeline's path. If you still have Emmeline's path open, Malena won't make a move on the MC that night.

How do you unlock threesome scene with bar girls? Not that I would ever have the courage choose anything other than our precious angel Colleen. But I'm curious to see everything in this update

You have to low enough trust points. Try going back and looking for a few opportunities to be closed off with the other characters. Don't be honest with them about things, for example. Check out the walkthrough for more details.

Maybe to just show how lax the security is
Possible too.

Orrrrr you use URM if you cant get yourself to not giving a shit about all LI's and colleen like me *cough*

The threesome scene was awesome by the way, maybe the best/most fun/sexy threesome i ever saw in a avn by the way (i like casual settings tho, that may played a part too)!

I see some people sya they don't like Jamie or she is ruined. Honestly I could never dislike Jamie, she is my queen. That being Said I feel like ep.5 might be the make or break for me. Which could be sad, cause I enjoy this game.

I don't want to move on from this game, but it feels these last couple episodes she has got sidelined and not gotten and lot of focus to other characters. She hasn't gotten her big sex scene, she just feels like background almost sometimes, not getting focus or spotlight.

I skipped ep.3, cause Jamie was kind of pushed aside there only for this episode to do the same thing imo. Idk, I just want not only the long awaited sex scene, but some more spotlight, cause I feel like she has been pushed aside and becomes almost like a background character, so please Impious Monk give her the spotlight she deserves.

I hope not to move on after episode 5, but I don't know how much more I can keep waiting and pushing through the game only for her her not to be in the spotlight and get the love she deserves. Just had to get these thoughts out there.

I just went for a quick run with low trust and I'm feeling completely disgusting. Like I needed a shower after that. It's almost a crime that the threesome is the highlight of this update, but you have to be a huge piece of shit to get it. This isn't a critic by any means. It's appropriate/fitting that to get that threesome scene the mc would have to be very cynical and insecure. My heart sank after MC said he didn't want to see Colleen and that she wasn't his sister. I legitimately felt awful.

Congratulations MF, you can definitely cook a story

as far as i "understand" the mc, he has no ambition or wish for it
neither to be a senator or for the power it holds
this "idea" was planted in him by carrington and this snake of a woman
and i really hope - if its come to this - that we can avoid her for good and at all
It's Cassie who is behind the Rockford-for-Senator scheme and Carrington himself has misgivings about it because he sees Rockford as too much of an "idealist."

This plays really well into a constant theme throughout LeavingDNA - Rockford starting to question the sanctity of the legal system, especially around justice, and his willingness to bend rules/the law.

I think it will be interesting going forward to see how willing Rockford is to take up the Carrington/Locke offer of a Senate run depending on player choices surrounding redemption / doing an illegal background check on Koch / flashing his badge while off-duty, i.e. those actions pushing Rockford toward the "dark side" and away from his idealism. Also, will a Senate run only be available on the Detached or Jamie paths?

Can't blame us mate, we seatch exclusively for that tag :p
Yeah, this tag is like shit. It attracts those nasty green shiny blowflies and turns good threads into weird shit shows. This is not directed at you personally. It really isn't. I don't know you and therefore can't pass judgment on you. It was just a general statement based on my experience on this board when it comes to this particular bubble.

This update really made me dislike Jamie. Looking at it objectively, I kinda get why she would choose the job over MC, she's doing what she thinks is best for her and her career and I thinks that's completely normal btw. The problem is I'm not really looking at this objectively.

Mc is going through a really tough time, finally starts opening up and that's when she decides that she's leaving. I get that it's pretty selfish to dislike her because of that but that's where I stand on that.

Malena's the one now I guess.
Don't let Monk win. Be strong my brother! Like a man in a bear suit!

Glad you're enjoying the story overall! I am a little disappointed with this take, though.

I'd been trying to set Jamie up as a very ambitious person. In each of Episodes One through Three there is a discussion about her goals going beyond just working in the District Attorney's Office. Yes, she does protest when asked and says she's happy for now being a DA. But she admits that she wants to be a federal judge, which I personally consider a very, very ambitious goal. She's even already applied to take on a second job as a law professor at a local law school, showing both her interest in teaching and, again, her ambition. In addition, her past job history clerking for a federal court of appeals and clerking for a United States Supreme Court justice are only things that an ambitious person would do. Even just the fact that she went to Harvard Law School is consistent with having ambition.

But I guess the problem here is that I didn't do a good job of explaining why these facts are relevant to showing her ambition. Most players aren't going to understand, for example, what it means to be clerk for the court of appeals or the supreme court. So that's my fault.

I do agree that she's leaving at a really hard time for the MC. But I think that actually makes her a much more interesting character. She understands that this is hard for the MC and she's really torn up about it because the job at Harvard is a once in a lifetime opportunity and she really wants it. But she also truly loves the MC. This is a very difficult conflict for her.

I do want my characters to feel real and to have their own hopes and ambitions outside of their relationship with the MC, even if that comes at the cost of that character's "likeability." The fact that we can't have everything we want in life sometimes will lead to hard choices. And hard choices are always going to make for good storytelling.
This is what I haven't understood about some of the comments in this thread. I think you've very clearly communicated (at least to a native English-speaking audience) Jamie's career ambition, her complex relationship with Rockford, the nature and urgency of the unexpected once-in-a-lifetime job offer, and her very conflicted emotions over moving away from Rockford. Perhaps the reaction is because you didn't fall in line with the typical AVN fairy tale trope where a LI only exists to the benefit of the MC at every turn.

Rockford is many things, but he's not a narcissist (at least not yet). Expecting Jamie to drop everything for the sake of Rockford reeks of narcissism - she's her own woman with her own life to live, not Rockford's wet nurse. Yes. Rockford has been in a fragile mental state, but he's a 30-year old adult who ultimately only has himself to blame for where his relationships - both past and present - are at.
