They are remaking the whole game from scratch as I understand it. Whatever slavery, IF there will be any, it's going to be on a different platform. This verson of the game is as far as it goes for this build I guess

Has no animations yet, since our animator had a family emergency. Had we not remodeled K for the community's complaints, dealt with the feet situation, we probably would have a decent chunk of animations done by now. But setbacks happen, and I can absolutely assure you, the moment we have something substantial and enjoyable ready, you'll get to play it.

Well, I like the current Krystal character better than the one in those renders.

Apart from the fact that it makes her have a more serious personality, which fits perfectly in that level of "I resist corruption but in the end I give in to it", it fits perfectly with her "sarcasm" dialogues, giving the game that special touch of humor that I like.

My description of new Krystal is that her face just looks scrunched. It's simply not aesthetically pleasing.

I was for ages and then stopped just before they announced they would be redoing it because their update speed has always been at a snail's pace and whatever they released was ultimately unsatisfying. More and more it seemed like they were just jerking around and taking my money.

But we've all heard this story before. There's a reason why you have so many disgruntled ex-patrons in the comments.

Beauty is subjective though. I for one find Krystal's face in rebirth incredibly charming, and the new one is alright. But maybe it would've been the other way around between the two, had the devs made her with the current new face in rebirth.

At the end of the day MightyAltroll , ya gotta take what you believe in and stick with it. Feedback is good but you can't please everyone, so as much as I'd like everything about Krystal to stay as in rebirth, even the plot and her backstory, I hope there won't be anymore persuasions on changes, otherwise the game will definitely never come out haha. Remember, whatever you had already released, it brought the attention and patreons (I assume?) Best of luck and success to the project!

Dude just wait for the release.
Its not like you are paying them any money right now.

If they release the demo and then the first update, and things looks like they are making barely any progress, then you can bash them and move on with you life, cause thats basically what most people here are waiting for. The question on our minds right now is, is it worth supporting again at some point. And the next releases - no matter when they come out - will show us what to expect.

Comparing what the rest of the devs seemed to have done on Trello it seems like animations are very far back. Now animator had some troubles, thats unlucky, esp. considering the guy was one of the new people who was supposed to make stuff go faster and better. Lets hope one interruption doesn't lead into the next, thats the main thing. I can understand people having trouble delivering for personal or family reasons. Happened to me before. But when I gotta deliver my exam paper a second chance is all I get, and that's when Im super lucky. Normally its just "deliver or fail". And Id like to think at the very least the patrons - maybe we over here have no right to criticize - but at least the patrons deserve not being put back more than one time. So lets hope it stays at that and the rest of the team can help them catch up with the animations.
