Updates on their discord that is. Maybe not anything visual...well, some visual. Not a whole lot tho. It's a bit of a shitshow to be honest, but I'm not going into that discussion again.

I've seen the last few pages of that thread and, oh, boi, if that ain't a circus, then I don't know what is.
But then I gave it a thought and I realized it hasn't really changed since the first pre-alpha-chicken-beta edition when I last checked it, since the main dev still makes novel-worth walls of texts as responses that could easily take as long as several hours to write.
Well, I guess Krystal games were never meant to get past those flash games from early 2010s and derivatives that spawned from that framework.

What I find most sad about this whole change, is that the new writer for this project, just HAD to have a overarching story and complicate it more than necessary.
The story of Krystal crashing on a planet with no communication with her command ship, hunting a fox demon that causes havoc was for me at least, good enough.
I can understand wanting to create more, but sometimes simplicity is good for a first time project.
Some believe the porn is just a bonus.
Sometimes that may even be true, but that's only because things outside porn are taken very light-heartedly and end up, for example, becoming a great comedic experience, more by accident than design.
Abelius I don't know what happened between you and kuja, but I think your writing and kuja's drawings made this game so popular. I wish there will be a time that you will work together in future.

Honestly, I never thought that I would have to write on the forum, but this time I just can't stand aside. Abelius, I am very glad to hear about your new game, because your work on the school game looked very convincing and good. It doesn't matter how long it takes, but it would be great to see another piece of your work.
Abelius kuja027 I already knew that it is impossible, but you both don't aware of each other's brilliance.
After playing so many games in here; I am very positive that Kuja's drawings are near to the level of EvaKiss or DrPinkCake.
Also, in terms of programming and schedule arranging, I think you are the one of the best developer in f95zone.
If I were Kuja, I would try to do renpy games like Good Girls gone bad. Less mechanics, less complex environments, simple renpy games, where the main focus are on drawings and writings.
If I were you, actually you have advantage, only a good drawer is more than enough for you. You are one man team tbh.
Anyway, it still makes me sad that you part ways, together you guys would be one of the best developer team in this forum.
I hope you both will be successful in the future.
