for me it's sad, was a project that I had some interest in supporting.
It reminded me of text games but it has a visual element.
Anyway I understand your reasons for leaving

oh i almost forget send here. I am making a comic, sequel with cenvir and krystal but now in 3d. continuation with anal and + juice :). I also wanted to do the work, on base the art where Krystal decided to go to the lake at night. (short animation for comic

if you want, you can write a little script ( scenario) and i will try to make comic, it base on it if you want, with that slave path. (just suggested.)

In the past, a good part of why I would have considered it was because I would have liked to get my vengeance and show everybody the arguments they used to justify my sacking were excuses at best.

The other part was my finances going to hell, which would be, by far, a fairer reason to retake the project. And Krystal is so popular that making a game about her it's almost like cheating.

As for my finances, thanks to Pizza Hot I'll be able to extend my bankruptcy time to 2023, instead of this June. I'd still need to double current income to achieve stability, but I have a year to show this community they have nothing to fear about me abandoning my projects.

My friend it's extremely understandable why you feel that way. I wouldn't want to be stuck in the past where bad memories reside.

To counter, it isn't vengeance to compete. If they called you out for being a better game, maybe that would kick their asses into gear and actually promote two well made games. Or they could just fall on their faces again and you'll take the lion's share.

I've been a big proponent of this in my time in the stock market: Be a monster.
It's your money, it's your choices, and if by the end of the day you will become rich at someone else's foolishness that is on them. That's the beauty of Capitalism and Competition.

Pizza Hot and Cold are very much on my watch list though, so either way I'll be enjoying your games. Good Luck Abelius, Bankruptcy isn't fun and I very much hope you manage to overcome it.

if anything, now I can make an animation in sfm, and you can write a plot if you want, let them eat the dust, there is nothing to lead people by the nose. ;) (y)

To be honest, when I wrote that, I was in a place of mental quietness. Now... I'm feeling some wrath again, for what they did, and especially how little of what they bragged about when they removed me have done, after THREE FREAKING YEARS.

Oh, and the small detail they still have MY game on their launcher and Patreon, and they're still riding on the success of my project. And the fact they would say "But it's not your game! Kuja drawn the graphics and I made some dialogues!", as if that 25% of the work involved in a game project gave them the right to continue profiting from the 100% of the work I put.

But what is even more infuriating is that I still get "How's it going?" messages by Vlad from time to time, as if they think this wasn't anything "personal", you know. That I got what was coming to me, because I didn't pay heed to their crazy ideas about a AAA RPG game with some porn in it.

So, yeah. It would be both justice and taking back what's mine.

That said... (this is the actual "but") I have my hands full with with Pizza Hot. That is the reality and I have a commitment with my current supporters, that are much likely more interested in this game than LOK Rebirth.

Unless they prove me wrong, I won't do anything so extreme as abandoning a project to take back a stolen project for which 90% of the patrons were told lies about its "reboot", and don't even know who "Abelius" is.

Honestly i was not even aware that happened and i followed their posts quite regulary, Its outrageous and malicious in my opinion. On the other hand i am glad you are making pizza hot, the art is beautiful and honestly the biggest outrage to me was when they changed the art from old LOK to this new...whatever it is. All in all im glad you got a project and its going well
