It has been repeatedly said that what they've been working on is the foundation for the full game, and this is a testbed and demonstration of what they've been working on. The animations they've been polishing are the three to four sex scenes present in the demo. Some of the basic animations may not be fully polished or implemented, but the sex scenes are 100% finished and polished because they know that's what a lot of people are look forward to. This demo is meant to show you the kind of gameplay to expect from the remake minus combat which is far from ready. Once testing is done, the demo will be publicly released so you can see it for yourself. After this demo will either be a combat demo or moving fully on to v0.1. The version 0.8 is no longer being worked on, but is instead going to be replaced by a new reworked version from the ground up.
