This version of the game (in this forum thread) is 100% abandoned sadly, since the person, who did 60-70 percent of all work on it, is no longer part of the LOK team.

Yes, they have restarted, and now they are trying to make a different game (but still with a more or less similar scenario, and they do it pretty slow), but alas, the version of the game in this particular thread of the forum will not be continued.
