I'm having this problem, is there any way to fix it?
Is like the octobreeder moment is happening but I can't do or see anything
I noticed this was happening to me too. Which was weird because I got the RPG Maker XP GAME from steam in my account, but it still didn't work. Then went and downloaded the RTP but that didn't work either. So weird...

It seems to be a compatibility problem between some OS and the engine, there have been fixes post on the Internet before... even here on F95.
You might be best served with a good old questionary to doctor google
I ended up fixing it thanks to a comment on the LoQOO thread, tho it is not really recommended.
You go to pannel control -> system and security -> system -> advanced system settings. In the windows that pops up, click on the "settings button" in the "performance" section, new window pops up. In this new window, you go to "data execution prevention" and here you add the game as an exception.
Not really recommended to do so because it now allows the game to write in sensitive memory slots. If I understood right, it can create a vulnerability for certains attacks such as executing codes where it shouldn't be possible.

As far as I recall you'll eventually be able to win some boots unlocking fast movement speed (or that was available in Part 2 only... I am not sure)

When I met Opala in Throne, she told me to go to the cave with the big rock in front of it, but when I went there, the same dialogue just appeared over and over again. What should I do?
For anyone whose game opens as a black screen and then closes, these steps worked for me:
1. Download RPG Maker XP from "Installation" section link (File is named xp_rtp104e by default)
2. Install to default location -> C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Enterbrain\RGSS\Standard
3. Open the Game.ini file in your game folder (the one with the gear symbol)
4. Change "Library=RGSS102E.dll" -----> "Library=RGSS104E.dll"

So playing game on joiplay and it freezes on several things for me one is the items.skills and when you go into the adult store is there a fix to them
