How do I dl these without working links?DRM care package v2:
Patched gui.rpy (install this in your LiL/game folder to disable the DRM)
Hidden-code-free summerdorm2monsecond.png (just to eradicate the DRM for completeness)
Original .30 script.rpy (in case yours gets schwacked)
1-1-LT1.save - Complete 0.29 Good Uncle save (needs Guide Mod in original post to work, even the older version will work)
I'm sure someone can provide a Bad Uncle save if needed.
On a semi-related note, the fishing game seen in some early porn shop events with posters - Hero's Harem Guild - supposedly updates today after 2.5 years on hiatus
Crazy how we've gotten to a point where a guy who's delayed updates that long has done markedly less damage to his own community than in this one, one of the most regularly updated games in the biz.

This 2 month break is really making everything feel off. Right about now we would've been getting a look at new outfits for characters (if they had them) and new scenes as previews. And even the sporadic releases of the care packages makes everything feel off. So if we don't get a care package next week I don't think we will get any new LIL content till December because Sel said he was going to Japan in November.

Things feeling off around the holidays is the norm for this game. The holidays always muck with people's schedules. I put the dates above so that I could point out that outside of the first year of holiday updates, the holiday updates have almost always been a bit wonky. Christmas in March? Halloween in December? We're actually getting both updates at a normal time of the year for the first time since the first holiday events.
At this point, I assume that Sel is going to be travelling or otherwise taking a break around the holidays, and more power to him. People deserve to be able to take time off.

I wrote a shell script to help me manage my collection of music from Lessons in Love, and I thought it might interest a couple people here.
It assumes you keep your LiL music for general listening in a separate folder. It checks the contents of that folder against the current tracks in the LiL 'game/' folder. It presents each track missing from your folder to you. You may choose either to copy the track to your folder, or add it to a blacklist so that it will not be presented again. The blacklist would generally contain the filenames of tracks that are sound effects / earrape / etc.
Run the script once after every LiL update to painlessly add the music you want to your own collection for later listening.
This is a Bash script, so it should run without trouble on macOS or Linux. Should work on Windows with Cygwin, too. I tested it on Arch Linux. I'm releasing this code to you under the permissive MIT license; do what you like with it.
I've included my blacklist so you can avoid generating a fresh one. It belongs in the folder where you will keep your music! There's also a copy of the license just so you have it. I recommend you remove the extra '.txt' extension I had to add to upload the script. Make sure it has execution permissions as well.
Dependencies: make sure you have coreutils, findutils, grep, and ffmpeg (for `ffplay`, used to let you listen to the track while you choose).

After going back and replaying Chapter 2 Tsuneyo's "Fuck You" running gag is probably the best in the game.

I doubt people check this thread daily too. I mean, I often leave it until there are pages of "content" and just read it later, though after this update this thread is much less active.

I wanted to re-read what pareidolia (assuming it is the narrative) said during the blue balloon scenes and thought maybe the spider texts contained something interesting. If I knew beforehand that it was just another beautiful yet cryptic poem I probably wouldn't spend the efforts because my eyes now hurt (unless someone can deduce something inspiring out of it).
