I mean, technically I think you can.... avoid all the events, and just go to school and go home in an endless grind? That would be no girls, no romance, no sex, but still no teaching.
I really like this game and its writing, but there is one thing that bothers me a bit, it's the little impact that our choice are on the unfolding of the story, the game is really too linear for now and I hope that will evolve in the future with choices that really matter.
I... I think that might be the point? Idek at this point, but I wouldn't put it past Sel to drop a "all you do is meaningless" on our heads 5 or 6 versions from now... It'd certainly fit some "concequences" from some recent events like Bluejay.
Her response to Selebus is gold, but I had no idea her naming sequence was handled in that many lines, that's insane. Of course, I say that knowing full well how much code even the simplest functions can take in some languages from experience myself in Visual Basic.

It's not like she has parents or anything. The closet living family member (at least that we know of) is huge perv and can't teach to save his life so he's probably not the best role model out there.

Yeah and it's making me extremely anxious, I don't want to be doing these characters this dirty, but I have no choice.
Makes me think there'll be a reset at some point at the end of the dark route which will let you properly choose someone.

When I first played this game I was expecting something like you're describing, pick a single girl and establish a relationship for the rest of the game. I'm not too big on cheating or lying (or ntr but there isn't any in this game) so I was a little sad that I had to hurt other characters' feelings to progress through the game. I recall reading that there will be a "purity" route later in the game but I don't know much about that or its ETA. Sel has weaved a complex web of relationships and I definitely think the cheating will be going on for a while.
On the flip side, too many games are happy-go-lucky where the MC is way too unrealistic and gets with everyone in the game (see Summertime Saga). This game is a refreshing change where your actions (or inactions) actually have adverse effects later in the game.

New characters are coming on May 1 and June 1 per the Patreon and would likely come with their own events. I'm not sure on the other content/events as I'm not a Patron (yet). I think animations and events are voted on by Patrons but I'm not 100% on that.
Complete roadmap for the next several months is available in the patron section of the Discord but the next update is split between Otoha and Nodoka as the Dorm 8 intro update.

Especially when there are decisions that will hurt one character no matter what. I hate and love the fact I have to make those kinds of decisions. Hate being a bad guy, but gotta play into it this time I guess.

I found this game from certain youtube video (but sadly, that video and that channel now has been deleted because, well, you know, youtube), that channel recommend me some other games too like
After my first encounter with that room with clock, i started to browse this game and here i am, ended up in this thread.
I only play LiL because it doesn't messing up with my brain in a bad way.
