It doesn't seem to lock things out entirely, but we have no idea what the ultimate consequences will be.
Hmmm I knew there are more events and that she was gonna be a long grind no matter what, At this point i think i am close enough that i will finish up the path i am on and then maybe go back later and redo it to get the events i missed i guess. Thanks for the info mate

It's got a very anticlimactic ending but from ages 13-17, I was a hardcore kleptomaniac. I stole everything I could get my hands on, even shit I didn't want, just because I could. I was really good at it. And the rush that came with stealing was what I got high off of when all of my friends spent their free time doing heroin. Eventually, I started teaching them how to do it as well. Nothing huge, just convenience stores and things like that. Then one night, one of those friends and I went into Wawa and got caught stealing a couple energy drinks. Cops came, cuffed us and took us to holding, and we were out a few hours later. Such a funny way for it to all come to an end, too, since by that point I had stolen thousands of dollars in shit from the mall and pawn shops. Haven't stolen a single thing since.

And this all happened like a week before my 18th birthday, so I'm really glad it ended the way it did.
You reminded me of my younger self when I would everyday steal food from my school's canteen, it did feel like a rush for each time that happens. (*sigh, teenagers....)
Until they installed security cameras, I quitted since then.

At the end of the day, I think we're lucky enough to even be able to pirate stuffs with the convenient tools provided to us (like this website), and if there are things we can't get our hands on for free, just buy it, complains are not needed.

I just finished up 15. That is the only event I missed and I am 99% sure its a damned if you do damned if you dont kind of event. I tried multiple saves and different approaches but could not figure out how to get it. I am pretty sure its a situation of: Do X get A. Do Y get B. Picking X locks you out of B and picking Y locks you out of A. Then again I could be totally wrong, but that particular event I tried a lot of shit.
So wait, there's a potentially missable event with Rin in the near future ? Hope I'm wrong

I can say "I never thought Selebus could do such thing" but then, based on his writings (pretty prude and dark at times, [still exceptional though]), it adds up.
How old is Selebus again ?

I now know how to get it, You have to leave Chika's "Scheundenfreude" event until after the Beach trip But to do this means going back and redoing a crap load of content, which i dont want to do if i can still pursue Rin romantically and not just have her as a friend. She happens to be one of my favorites
So quick question if you miss "Love Life, Let Go" does that lock you out of any kind of romantic/LI relationship with Rin in the future (ie did i get friend-zoned?) or is it just a single event? If it is just that event and i can still pursue Rin then i am fine missing the event this time around, but if it locks her romantic path entirely then i will basically have to restart.

Judging by what happens in a future event after the beach trip if you do turn the events red in the beach trip section of her events, having Rin as an LI is out if you do, though if that is permanent remains to be seen. There is one event in particular at the end of her content that has a very distinct difference if you turn her beach events red and a very scary one for those of us who have her as a favorite and this difference could very easily mean she will never see player Sensei that way in a bad homie scenario, which is why this difference is so terrifying, or at least the potential implications are.

Yes, and missing it has consequences later with potentially more to come, but how long they will last remains to be seen.

Well, that is a surprising coincidence, same here.

Just finished 15p1, another roller coaster of a ride as expected.

Phew, I'm rather relieved, the thought of this website being swarmed with underage minors, has always been uncomfortable.
Although there are probs a few amounts of accounts like that lurking around.
Dunno why but I never had that impression here, at least from the topics I watch feels like people are in their late 20s or something like that.

There handfuls of developers who are still in college or university rn, some shared their stories on Patreon or directly to the threads.
That's great because we're still around the age of raging hormones and what better way to kickstart your career (and fullfil ur fantasy) by making adult games ?

Just about everyone I've interacted with so far gives off the air of being in their 20s, hell I'm 26. For sure there's going to be the odd-ball in their late teens or what have you. Just how it is but me personally, especially with this website I'm under the impression that most of us are up there or pushing 30 by now.

They do have to be careful depending on their country, though. While producing adult games isn't illegal in most, some countries still view it as something that should not be done or at least should not be talked about. This is why the Japanese market rarely makes significant strides and the developers in that market that do are working solo and have no intention of going anywhere else with those skills. Unfortunately, and this applies to the Japanese in particular, some view the origin of the skill as more important than having the skill itself or it at least appears that way. Even if a Japanese developer gains programming skills, if they gained said skills through adult games and are in the market for a big company like Nintendo, they are likely to be passed over by Nintendo for the fact that their skill originated on the adult side of the industry.

A prime example of this is Illusion, the company that made the game this game uses the art style from. Illusion very rarely makes any significant improvements and there are two reasons for this. The first is their customer base, which seems to prioritize customization, so the rest of the game suffers a drop in quality because Illusion then focuses on customization. The second is a stigma especially prevalent in Japan around anything porn. In Japan and other countries with this idiotic stigma, you often see developers keep their employment and companies like Illusion secret from even their families and they will leave the company as soon as they are able, which is usually at the end of their first and only project. Very rarely does even one employee at a company like Illusion get to work on more than a single project at a single company. They instead use it as practice and a stepping stone to the big boys like Nintendo. Couple that with Illusion's switch to Unity from their own engine that kept getting increasingly incompatible with newer changes to Windows and they had an issue, an abundance of newbie developers with little to no skill in Unity specifically and no veterans with enough skill in Unity to teach the newbies properly.

Selebus does not have to worry about this because the US does not bear this stigma despite the overly zealous religious leaders and followers not wanting porn to be a thing that exists.

I'm just saying, whether it is a good kickstarter or not is entirely dependent on the culture of the country you are in.

I've had the same feeling as well, I have only seen a couple that give off the air of someone younger and those are typically the ones who complain over an update 'taking too long' or 'not having enough sex' or a game 'not having penetration' or 'not letting us fuck immediately.' I noticed the first most predominantly with projects that take a couple months or more between updates, the second and fourth with games like this, where it is a slow burn that ultimately doesn't lead to immediate sex, and the third with games that have a focus on a specific, non-penetrative fetish like "The Headmaster" or the couple of games that are specifically focused on exhibitionism without the MC getting fucked on sight. I don't mean any offense, but that immediately gives off an air of horny teenager that maybe isn't old enough to be here, though not all who meet the age requirement are at the equivalent maturity level.

For some reason, I thought you were a zoomer. Glad to be wrong.
I have never once gotten that impression. I though he might be older, especially with this much skill and talent in a field that takes time to hone, I was not expecting him to be my generation. It's actually kind of a relief because most of our generation that I have interacted with have a nasty case of entitlement issues or similar and most of the people of older generations I have interacted with do not have these issues. It led me to my mistaken impression.

A zoomer this talented ? I doubt that.

One thing though, would you assume that he's around 28 by looking at his avatar ? Ami's face doesn't go well with 28...(-_-)
My boomer grandfather is this talented, at least in programming, he's the one who taught me everything I know today. I wouldn't be surprised encountering a person of this magnitude of talent in any generation.

Well considering the character is japanese she could be 48 for all we know and still look like that.
I mean one of the characters is a 5000 year old wizard and looks like a kid in the upper single digits.

Not quite, zoomers are 1995 to 2012. With Selebus and I both being 28 as stated, that puts us at 1993, which falls into the millenial generation by two years with the end there being 1994. I too remember the beginnings of the internet, kind of. What can I say, I was just a kid. Hell, I still run Windows 95, the OS involved in my first encounter with a computer, on one of my backup systems for compatibility with some games that just didn't make the transition. ;)

Wow, i thought you are 5000 years male wizard, good day human!
I mean he did say at least once that some characters were based on aspects of himself. :p

Only 4 more days man....can't wait
Definitely, especially with how Selebus has been on a serious roll with the last few. It makes me look forward to every single update as a standalone thing instead of the big picture.

I've reached the part where it says "world is broken" when I try calling someone and all the girls have vanished, is that as far as the game progression is in the current build or am I missing something?
