Hello to everyone, i can't unlock udoka and many of other last girls. I need one thing specifically or i trigger one specific event? Thx a lot. I'm playing the last version and the last main event that i done is kadribilliontrillion.
All girls unlock during the main story, just keep bringing up affection with everyone and doing each character's individual events and the main story will continue to the point of unlocking characters that you don't have unlocked yet.

This really is the most consistent game I've ever played, and also loved playing. I really do love the fact the game doesn't go months and months without an update like many other successful games, it's a blessing.
Granted that it is sometimes, though VERY rarely, unavoidable. It actually surprised me that Selebus got back up as quickly as he did from his power issues thanks to that weather in Texas a while back. Most independent developers don't recover that quickly and some may not at all. Remember that a lot of these developers are doing this as a hobby with an actual job that takes priority over it, so there is that to consider as well.

Do I still need the patch in the newest update?
No, all content and bug fixes are in each update that comes out after they are made, so any patch made before a specific update is unnecessary.

I just wanted to note that on a fresh save when you hangout in the dorms in chapter 1 you get the hangouts from chapter 2
A known issue, but one Selebus has addressed as not changing because it means double the renders for that part of the game, triple or more if a new set is ever needed down the line.

Very creepy. That is when it went over the line for me. Obviously being with most of the girls secretly is a huge problem, but that is typical for games here. However, Sensei is really moving into abusive territory, trying to manipulalate Miko to betray her friend, when she really doesn't want to. With the other girls, they seem to be mostly interested, but with Miku, she really doesn't want to be touched, so I think this is the start of a new phase for Sensei (I hope not, but who am I kidding). And of course, his playing games with Mokoto's affection, who he knows is deeply depressed and suicidal, is an even lower depth, even for him.
I agree. That is a bit of a moment of truth in the writing. If -as a player- you start to feel that he (Sensei) really isn't deserving of the attention he receives because he is malicious, callous or just a creep, it'll deeply change to tone of the game. It's already skirting a "gotta catch'em all" porn trope over the story with the latest update for me.

There is a fine line between endearing indifference and just being a creepy asshole and he crossed it now for me.
He's always been a creepy asshole in abusive and manipulative territory, that's what he was supposed to be from the start, he's just now acting on it more noticeably. He is the type of character who will do anyhing and everything necessary to reach his goal, which is to get laid by every girl in the class as directly stated by the man himself. The reason it is more apparent with Miku is because she hasn't shown active interest, the other girls he's already done stuff with already have. I just hope poor, naive Chika doesn't come to the realization that he's only into her for the sex and is playing her like a fiddle. The poor girl's heart would shatter instantly if she ever found out.

more and more new victims players join in each update, soon the whole site, then the entire Internet will be dominated by LIL, and everyone will truly experience what horror and shenanigans really mean...
Don't you mean they'll experience joy and happiness? :p

Yeah, maybe so. But at the beginning of a story there is always the promise of redemption (or at the very least character development). If we end up with a Sensei that will just passively fuck up every girl he meets regardless of circumstance then this will (let's word this diplomatically) detract from my enjoyment of the game. I sincerely hope that will not be the point of the game. I can't empathize with someone like that and given he's the protagonist...

What he did to Miku (and to a degree Makoto) was pretty close to my red line. Yours may differ.

Bottom Line: I did not enjoy myself playing this update. I felt like a creep by extension.

I'm in the same boat. Because of a health issue I have, I cannot work with covid being around, and living 2 people with a single salary makes that 5$ (actually 7$ + taxes where I live) the difference between eating 2 meals a day and a single meal a day.
I've been in situations like that before and it's not good at all. Hope things can improve for you.

Sel has said there are aren't a lot of sex scenes in this game (though there are actually a decent amount IMO, there's just a ton of other stuff over it).

Sounds like you might need to progress more though, less days and more affection with more girls?

He involved(sexually/emotionally) on the entire class by this point aside from some of the new transfer, its bound to happen sometime. So welcome to the part where stuff get tangled up and fucked up. Don't expect a redemption from "sensei". The only time he shows any sign of remorse is when things don't go according to his plan. I'm expecting the relationship will be getting worse as it proceed with his attitude.

Yeah, I am thinking I've had enough of this game. I not a fan of sociopathic characters.
Well, it was said that things are going to get darker, so...

176 days is more than enough for most events already, with around 30+ affection points and your cock is ready (Few girls only, a lot others haven't had any scenes).

I think you're just not getting enough requirements for events to occur, check the room with clocks wiki, it helps !

I have waited for that excuse. ;)

It's one thing when dark things happen as part of the story. It is another if the protagonist (and by extension the player) is the perpetrator.

Many other people don't have an issue with it, that's fine. But I identify to a degree with the MC of a game I play and I don't enjoy being a creepy asshole like that and my enjoyment is sort of instrumental to me actually playing a game like this.

It's not an excuse, it's the way things are going.

I can identify with Sensei; my rational side may not like some of the things he does, but I can separate it into a more fictional version that's a complete sadistic asshole.

Sensei is by no means a good person. However, he's also not entirely horrible. Most of his horribleness comes from the fact that the answer to the question: "U want sum fuk?" is hardcoded to "YES!" in his brain. So, when Miku starts dry humping him in the middle of the night, he makes a despicable decision.

However, he's shown on several occasions that he also cares about the girls. I'm not trying to say he's not terrible. He absolutely is. I'm just not sure he's completely irredeemable.

Not in a Denpa game or with a character like this, there isn't. Any 'promise of redemption' only ever appears during the story and very far into it, hen the player has the chance to get on a less gloomy path that usually ends up locked behind completion of everything else. Player Sensei already specifically stated his goal and it DOES involve fucking all of the girls, though fucking them up in the emotional or mental sense goes against his goal unless done AFTER he fucks them or as a result of fucking them in the sexual sense. He is methodically trying to avoid anything that could fuck up his chance with even one of the girls, though that is not an easy task considering these are teenagers of the female variety we're talking about, but he can and will do whatever will get him in their panties.

Then you add on to this the element of the game that is the lack of control that even he has at times, like with the Yumi kiss, and things really get bad in terms of player Sensei.

Lust isn't high enough or you're going after a girl without lust scenes since not many have them right now. Also keep in mind that sex is not and never will be a focus of this game as stated by the developer, so sex scenes will be much more limited in the first place than in a game with a focus on that kind of content.

He involved(sexually/emotionally) on the entire class by this point aside from some of the new transfer, its bound to happen sometime. So welcome to the part where stuff get tangled up and fucked up. Exactly, he's only ever sorry he didn't get the result he wanted or that things didn't play out the way he wanted even with the desired result. He is NEVER sorry he carried out his plan or for any negative effects his plan ended up having after the fact. He doesn't actually care about the girls, it's all an act. The only people who care about the girls for real are the girls themselves, the few NPC adults in the game, and the players.

Well, it was said that things are going to get darker, so...
Yep, welcome to the Denpa hotel. Male bathing time is at 9pm and females at 8pm, please keep your shoes outside the room at all times when not worn and please enjoy your stay. :p

It sounds like the issue here is attempting to do the usual and put yourself in the shoes of the MC, you're not supposed to do that in this game. He is made to be hated, despised by players from beginning to end. He is a villain protagonist in the truest sense of the term, just without the truly evil intent. In other words, he is in no way actively trying to harm the girls, he just doesn't care if they get harmed as a side effect of his work and will take the action with the best chance of getting the desired result even if it does risk harm.

Yeah, that part in the spoiler was so wrong on multiple levels. He took advantage of Miku's sexually vulnerable state to attempt to fast track his way into her panties and it just didn't sit well with me at all. Honestly, he would be dead right now if I were there, and I do mean in the end of life, permanent game over sense. Thankfully it backfired and, while I really am mad at Uta for ruining the later scene in Miku's dorm and sending the girl into a panic attack, I am thankful things didn't progress any further at that point. She's obviously not ready and is feeling pressured to say yes to his advances, which makes me despise him even more than I did at the beginning of the game. He crossed a line with me this update.

Sensei will likely get a lot worse before/If he gets better. From what I understand, Sensei isn't supposed to be ethical or loving. I can see the plot and events taking a lot of dark turns as the story deepens.
Most games on this site have a creepy degenerate MC but they have a terrible story. Sensei can be creepy and a degenerate, but there is good story behind it.
For sure, it would be cool to make Sensei a nicer guy than he is. But people suffering from the issues he has don't suddenly become what you want them to be. Maybe in the future he will be different. But the story will be very long, and we are just at the start of it. We will have to wait and see.

I would say that by definition that makes him entirely horrible.

It's more than apparent by now that the girls for some ungodly reason find themselves drawn towards Sensei in a sexual manner and despite knowing this and having been told it, he abuses it for personal gain.

You really can't get much worse than that tbh -- these girls look up to him naturally and unnaturally and he abuses that relationship.

He can't even stick to one girl regardless of player's choices.

(Please note that the following hypothesis is not mine, and while it is one I hold to, it makes life much more pleasant not to think about it too often. Or ever at all.) Hypothetically, all altruism and compassion and empathy are rooted in an organism's basic need to survive and propagate. Being perceived as a "good" person (or at the very least as non-threatening) by prospective partners, particularly in this case with a group of mostly naive teenage girls, is a reproductive advantage. Any time Sensei's "conscience" kicks in, it's actually just the deepest part of his do-the-sex-to-every-girl brain telling him to chill out before he blows the sweet deal he's got going.

On the subject of the fluid sexual orientation of some/all of the female characters, remember that there's a space war. Hardly any dudes left knocking about. Humans are great at adapting to changing circumstances (given enough time), and lonely humans are especially good at self-deception to quell their loneliness. A hand or mouth on your fun bits can belong to whomever you wish if you just close your eyes and believe hard enough.

Really though, this Matrix X Truman Show X Cloud Atlas X Dead Poet's Society porn game has made the last year a helluva lot easier to deal with.

You know, there's something from the most recent update that I haven't seen discussed, yet (maybe I missed it). At the end of the day with Kaori, Yumi sees Sensei with her, and is shocked by it. That really piqued my curiosity.

It could mean a few things. Could Yumi be feeling jealous? Could she be about to report to Chika that he went into another girl's apartment late at night, thinking she's finally caught him red handed? Could she know Kaori somehow? These are just some of the first possibilities to pop into my head. I'm sure there are a lot of others.

Then there's also Ami mentioning the number one maid - it's a big secret for some reason, and yet we've never seen them. I think the least likely/most shocking development would be Miss Watabe, and it's understandable why she'd want that to be a huge secret. Maya would be another interesting twist. One of the new girls in the upcoming update seems a more plausible explanation, though.

yeah, putting the "using schoolgirls for sex" aside this is getting into psychological abuse territory. When the MC was kind of a shiftless, lovable slacker he was kind of forgivable but now he's becoming a sociopathic abuser, almost thriving on the pain he causes. This game is moving from being one of my favorites inspite of /because of the darker elements of the journey of self awareness ( plus the cute girls ;) ) and moving to one I don't really look forward to because I know I'm probably going to wish a painful death on the MC for the pain he's causing those around him. I'm going to see what happens in the next few updates before writing it off because I've loved it in the past and the girls are great. Maybe that's the thing - the girls are so good I want to protect them from the piece of shit MC :ROFLMAO:

:coffee: *sips coffee

Sensei is horrible (we all are), but the story setup kind of left him with no choice, and plenty of opportunities to do what he does (war going on for years, no one enters or leave the city, he's the only adult male left)

If under rare and concerning circumstances like in the game, your explanation makes sense, really. Sensei wouldn't act the same if there was no war and were males around, sure he could still have the same personality and mindset, but that would also likely to change since life in Kumoni is completly normal and everyone's life will differ drastically from the game, he might become a decent human being if that's the case, who knows !

A specie that is thriving well and has formed a complex, sophisticated society, is bound to develop its own moral code, individuals who are against it are usually disliked because they can affect the how that specie thrives mentally and even physically. Not to say Sensei's action is approvable in any way, but he does care for the girls, just in his own "ways" :sneaky:
He shouldn't play around with every girl, or even behave inappropriately around them in fact, but then come on, what would be the point of the entire game ?

Ps : I think sensei could be perceived as a better person if he actually showed more emotions.
Pps : I find it funny the fact it's just an adult game and I'm going professor mode.
Ppps : I spilled my coffee
