It looks like you are trying to explain tiny bit of Io's personality but ignore specifics in common.
I think you can explain everything by just ASD (and something like ASD-driven neurosis to explain thins like astenia). Trust me, I have both diagnoses IRL.

It also very improtant to note, that people with ASD are much more comfortable with other ASD-persons or psychopaths. It explains Io spontanious affection to Sensei as well.

Err... i'm autistic and don't really get strong autistic vibes from Io and my radar is usually pretty damn solid. Not sure exactly what i'd expect Io to be diagnosed with but if she qualified for an autism diagnosis then either her scoring would be pretty close to not getting diagnosed with it or i'd require a pretty hefty explanation of the methodology used by the diagnostician.

She likes to make things - that doesn't mean autism
She hates socialising - that doesn't mean autism, it can but usually we're just bad at it, not hateful of it
She has anxiety - that doesn't mean autism either and most autistics with anxiety acquire it later in life as a response to not learning healthy coping skills for our particular sensitivities.

IDK. I know which radar you are talking about and in my case it was alarming AF. Maybe it is just due to spectrum wideness, maybe I am also catching something I am not aware of. Maybe it is because Io does not have depression, but has a lot of depression symptoms, which I can relate

BTW, another strange thing about my radar that it is completly ignoring Sensei despite it used to aim both ASD and psychopaths.

Yeah i dunno man, i do know autistics tend to go a bit overboard with diagnosing others with our particular brand of busted brain, seeing links and patterns where there aren't any so i'm inclined to think that's what's going on here, i could be wrong but it's really fucking rare for me to miss undiagnosed autism and i have a really good track record of identifying it, i've personally helped 4 undiagnosed adults discover their condition (3 men, 1 woman), all 4 later acquiring official medical diagnoses and i've yet to miss one that someone else detected so i'm pretty confident in my radar. Io just doesn't come across as autistic to me, but i could be wrong, you'd have to ask Selly if he intends her to be such and that he knows how to actually write one of us well enough to be accurate. I'm entirely unconvinced on all fronts.

I have to agree with bingoogus on this one. Of course, the knowledge I have about autism is extremely limited, so who knows? But a big thing is that I don't feel like it would fit the game's themes that well. The game is big on having characters that have gone through or are going through extreme trauma that has heavy mental effects on them. And I definitely wouldn't classify autism as trauma. I believe that whatever is wrong with her isn't something she was born with. This is why I usually agree with the sexual assault victim theory about her. It explains a lot of stuff about her in a nice, understandable package. (Though, if the clit thing turns out to be true, then I dread to think about what type of abuse she had to go through.)

Good point, now I am sure I was wrong about Io.

I dunno, it seems a bit more traumatic and she acts a bit more antagonistic towards females than if she merely had a birth defect.
I meant she might be a victim of FGM.
I mean I guess it could be mutilation, and it did seem to be because of something that happened around 8 years ago (like most other trauma in this game), since that's how long she's been taking some medications:

Io doesn't really strike me as someone mutilated though. More like someone who works differently. Or as she says:

lots of her "hasn't worked the way it's supposed to". Could be wrong though.

Also "Clitoral Atrophy" isn't a birth defect. It's just something that can happen due to a lack of arousal and use. The clitoris shrinks and "disappears". Io doesn't really seem to feel arousal, to me, meanwhile she knows other people do, which could be why she finds others, especially other girls, uncomfortable and weird.

Io - Finds out Sensei and Tsuneyo went to an amusement park. The true climax of the Dark Phase. Psycho Io drugs the class.
You know, I was mostly kidding about this, but then I recalled that Io seems to think about murdering people a bit:

Now, I'm a little worried. Psycho Ami has me worrying that everyone is just going to go Psycho for some contrived reason at some point.

Io would let anyone have sex with Sensei in front of her as long as he cuddles with her after lol

Correction: it's just an exaggeration cause Io basically hates everyone except a few people.
Yeah, pretty sure only Uta gets that privilege, for Io.

That actually sounds more like Noriko, tbh. Hence the whole "Fuck Kirin, Marry Noriko" stuff.

Ah.
Would that happen pre-pubescent, though? The class are first year high schoolers, so that means she's been taking medicine for her mental health since she was about 7 if her time line is accurate.
Though if it's more common forms of sexual abuse that fucked her up, it doesn't mean it's impossible she was abused BECAUSE she was already mentally ill, worsening her, rather than made ill from said abuse.
The mentally ill are often easy targets for such abuse, after all. And as a kicker, many anti-depressants have strong libido killing effects, which could contribute to the atrophy, especially if she was taking big doses during her development.

Not sure, but I wasn't trying to say that it's why she's taking medicine. It just might be why her vagina is different.

Personally, I'm thinking she and Sensei seem to remind eachother of themselves, due to both being groomed as children. Just, instead of like Sensei, she didn't get pleasure from it and felt worthless because of that. Maybe even was unable to satisfy her groomer and was abandoned. Her groomer also being a female which influenced her view of females especially. It could be why she has a contradictory mindset, and why she is given medications. Just a theory though.

Selly is gonna milk the shit out of this game, I guess three more years? Or when Genshin Impact ends lol
No clue, but I'm not really looking forward to an ending anytime soon. 3 years, 9, 27, etc. Bring it on. There's not really much out there that catches my interest before I get bored.
