Don't take this too seriously

Random Theory Time: The main cast are actually mostly Western people that got Otaku-fied because whoever created this world was an Otaku. (I think some people never existed while others did, but that's beside the point)

The reason Amy:

Is named "Amy" is because "Amy" is Ami's real name. Before this version of the world was created, she was possibly Sensei's niece, but was named Amy. I doubt she actually had that red hair, but she maybe did have twintails due to being an otaku herself.

It's possible that everyone's name is actually fake. It's why Pareidolia noted they know Yumi by another name:

Virtually every alliteration name is likely a lie, including Akira Arakawa. Even Nozomu which means Hope and Sekai which means World are made up names for people that may or may not have existed at some point.

Niki being some kind of childhood ex turned Idol is also likely BS:

She maybe did exist, but she was likely a non-pink haired friend who was named Nicole. Probably had Niki as her nickname due to being an otaku as well, since she'd watch Anime with Sensei. Something he'd also do with Amy.

In fact, I doubt anyone with naturally odd hair was ever real. Like how Noriko implies her Pink Hair is natural:

Niki might be the one exception, and I can see her dying her hair if she was real.

There's also how certain characters have western names like John, Todd, Matthew, Gary, Geoffrey, etc. Possibly even the Shapeshifter if her name is Daisy.

Overall: The reason anything might seem westernized in this game, is because this is actually a world made by an Otaku, not an actual person in Japan. Just no one knows that in universe, even though they may feel it. Hence stuff like Rin mentioning middle names:

and maybe where she's actually from.

I'll repeat what I said from the beginning of the update, maybe we can work out the 11 letter word that Touka said about Yasu before 0.33
I'm thinking that first word might be "Pretentious"?

"She's likely just pretentious."
"Pretentious. I wouldn't distress if I were you."

Did you mean pretending? Because pretentious has a whole other meaning.
Nope, pretentious.
"attempting to impress by affecting greater importance, talent, culture, etc., than is actually possessed."

Touka might be saying Yasu is trying to impress others by acting like she's chosen by a higher power to help them, etc.

I'm unconvinced Io is a true asexual. She's not even asexual, she's antisexual, as a result of her trauma any time sex comes up, before she can get aroused she is instead repulsed due to whatever was done to her autoloading on boot.

Of the asexuals i've met in person and online, the majority are more less just uninterested in sex, they have no libido to speak of, might as well be asking someone if they want to discuss the history of staplers and paperclips or get together and translate a dictionary into binary... no thanks. Many of them still have sex with their partners, the women at least from what i've heard and read, but one told me it's like giving your partner a massage, doesn't really do anything for you but you enjoy making them feel good.

The antisexuals are far more commonly that way due to trauma, they're not just uninterested in sex, it makes them feel awful and sick to the stomach. Some have no libido, some do, some have a deeply suppressed libido, but i do know they're the minority (not sure of exact percentage) in asexual communities online. That's about as much as i know on the subject though, if you want to know more, don't ask me, my curiosity was sated at this level of knowledge.

And his name is Selebus.

Jokes aside, first chapter is built about idea that Akira reincarnated inside a porn game. That trope isn't gone and we still have [redacted] ages and weird promotions sometimes.

I'm not completly understand perception concept, but it is almost clear that difference between "Kumon-mi is a porn game" and "Kumon-mi is real" is only dependent of your point of view

A question: what's the trigger for the last Happy scene, Amy?

Also, the more I play this game, the more I'm reminded of a thought I had when I first started it:

This may be a bit of a late question. why are Akira's eyes like HOPE's eyes? is it because hope has some control over him? like how Akira's mind goes circuit mode and becomes a mindless sex machine?
or is it just a reminder that the current Akira isn't the original Akira? hence there being #user 1/#user 2/#user 3 /and #user 4
(young Akira's eyes looked normal in his and niki's flashback so there has to be an explanation )

I've always thought it was because he "jumped" before the loops started, because Makoto gained the same eyes after she did the same thing in Chapter 1 and once again in Chapter 3. Basically it's a symbol of reaching a state of absolute despair with the desire to end it all.

i totally forgot about that makoto!
And oh boy this really makes sense. thanks!
and maybe this means that the possible ending of the game where Akira ends up falling flat from the jump is weaker because he was already resurrected with his eyes as a proof that he already died once.

I feel like the last update didn't really give us enough new to talk about, this next month is going to be quieter even if everyone throws everything they can think of down to talk about simply because everyone is already exhausting their supplies of ideas and theories and we didn't get enough new things to fuel the fires... downside to monthly releases i guess.
You can write a poem and join the contest as a late submission; you have a little less than a month to work on it

And no you can't just submit penis!
