So Io; that was a thing. I avoided that shitstorm instead of banging it. First time for everything I guess. Looking forward to how not going through with that nonsense plays out now that everything's out in the open over a misunderstanding. She was freaking the hell out when she got turned down. I've always been all in on the scumbaggery but I oddly couldn't go through with it in this instance.

Well think about it like this.On one hand we have a deprived rapist/child abuser that groomed us from a very very young age telling us to break the girls.On the other hand we have a god(or at the very least god like) constatly abusing us verbally about how we are alway at fault,how we are the reason anything bad is happening and how to atone for that we need to become the beast that we KNOW we are.I think its pretty obvious that these 2 narratos dont have the best intentions in mind,to put it litgly.

- I like the idea that Noriko is pulled in because she "wishes" to know. Nao was the result of Kaori's wish and seems likely to be connected to the wishing well.
- Purple hat guy showing up and Nao having no eyes are both things that I missed but seem important. Purple hat guy is identified as Tsuneyo's friend and I kind of got the impression he was watching over her, so maybe he's sent by Wires. Not sure why he would be watching Noriko, maybe some old district connection.
- Nao's lack of eyes reminds me of a similar thing with Ghost Sekai in the background of some event that I can't recall.
- Chinami also asked Nao about her favorite animal in "Becoming a Kidnapper" and the answer was apparently rhinos. I'm not sure if her answer changed, if Noriko is just commenting that she hasn't heard it specifically as answer to her question, or maybe Nao mentioned a specific type of rhino. Probably a coincidence, but the narrator in "DEN OF THE MOLE RAT" does mention the "Southern White Rhino".

- "List the things you love" has appeared two other times that I know of. First in an image in Miku's Chapter 1 event "Nightvision", which seems likely connected to Pareidolia. Second, Kaori says it one of the times that she's in Tojo Ramen.
- "Stop Looking for Answers" is something Maya says, but I think Pareidolia has also said it.
The twin thing has been bugging me since I saw it while replaying Chapter 1. There technically is one twin mentioned in the game, as Nodoka has the supposed evil twin Shiori, but that seems unlikely to be related.
I haven't come up with any concrete ideas, but here are some clues that might be relevant. The hex text above the twin message is exactly what the upside down, T-posing Ami says in "Trinity pt. I" (and she also says she has nightvision, i.e. can see more in the dark)

One other thing that might be a hint toward twins, but is a stretch: in "Rewrite" the narrator talks about seeing "our children's seventh birthday", implying the narrator and Sensei could have (or will have in the future) multiple children together that share a single birthday. Later in the event this is "corrected" to "our childrens' seventh birthdays". Given the change in both the apostrophe and the plural, it doesn't seem likely to just be a typo (and in any case Sel has been pretty diligent about going back to correct old typos).

Since I brought up the "Trinity pt. I" hallway scene, there's another thing about it that mystifies me. When the girls appear upside down, Ayane and Futaba are looking away from Sensei, which is not their normal dorm pose (we can't see where Miku, Rin, or Maya are looking). Then when they're right-side up, they're looking at Sensei.

Is there any speculation as to why more and more characters are becoming aware of not just temporal inconsistencies or odd behaviors, but seemingly paranormal events/entities/locations? Or is it simply a consequence of the narrator / Akira / player becoming more aware/doing more, or because the story has to actually go somewhere (like the dark path)? I took a couple long breaks and haven't read up on everything people have mentioned (haven't even commented before) so I'm just wondering if I'm missing hints or forgetting parts.

Those kind of things bug the crap out of me. Why can Sensei visit the girls again and stuff if we still haven't had a conversation with them. I try to avoid all that shitty part of the sandbox.

It has been hinted that it's because this cycle has been going for way longer than it should have. Their memories are adjusted with each reset, but it's supposed to be surface level - and then when a new cycle begins, everyone is factory reset. In this cycle however, they're starting to have to account for years of inconsistencies which is making everyone struggle with adjusting memories = remember more.
it has been said that the wishing well has dried up too, this may be related to that. All in all, your intuition was right, as it could be said that it's because this version of Akira has been staying around longer than what was expected.

That makes sense and is probably the extremely obvious answer. It just kind of feels like there's a difference between people having had memories they shouldn't have earlier, and the ones now. That might be me overthinking it or missing something, though. I suppose that is the point since there's more deviation within the cycle as well as its own weirdness.

Still don't fully understand a lot such as the wishing well, and not sure if that's solely because it's not supposed to be fully explained yet, or partially because I'm missing something. Playing the game in patches over a long time will do that, though. Probably need to revisit or look up a couple things.

Those things should not be the same, as you pointed out. Nodoka is hinted to have a connection to the world itself, and Noriko is led by Nao-chan. Tsuneyo is hinted to have a connection to Wires, the girls that remember (everything) all have a connection to the roof.
One other point of interest is that this cycle isn't randomly happening, it was engineered to be this way by foreign entities. Akira remembering, Maya giving in, Ayane surviving, Nao-chan being sent as help, Spring arriving - all of this is part of a larger plan (or to be more accurate multiple plans to make this cycle different). So definitely it isn't all just because the cycle is taking longer, since the reason it's taking longer isn't random.
Edit: I should probably give a concrete example. So, Noriko's school sinks in, that brings her to Akira's school, which leads to her giving him a box with Niki's letters - that's the moment he remembers his first memory of being the real Akira. Fast-forward a few hours, he ends the night on a roof with Maya, Noodles and Himawari. This was not a random event that just happened. Another example: Himawari shows up to sell Akira the very same scarf that Maya had when Akira accepted her feelings, she breaks down when receiving it, which kickstarts her giving in process. There are many such cases of things being nudged in a specific way.

These latest Nodoka moments were quite a treat i must say.But i want to talk about her for a bit.
Personally i dont think Nodoka will be extremely important in the grand scheme of things,as someone like Noriko would.No instead i believe she will be LiLs own Icarus.Her curiosity will consume her and then we will have to pick up the pieces.It would be quite fitting.Anywho another thing i wanna talk about is the matter of resets.Now that Maya prime as the people in this thread have taken to calling her is gone,who will reset the world?Will the world need another reset?
