Untitled is exactly what I was thinking of, I just completely glossed over it. You're an absolute lad. For a second, I thought I made it up. She's clearly distraught about the whole thing, but doesn't even say a word when told they'd "file a complaint" about her, which is what was stuck in my head. It's obvious that she wants to do what she can but ultimately can't meddle much. Tonally, she's very different from any other "entities" as well.
I've read a few of the posts speculating about her, but only really only the tip of the iceberg. I'll have to read some of DeSkel's posts.

Haven't looked at this in awhile. I have version 0.28 does it matter which version for the patch or is it patching everywhere up to current? Never used a patch that big of a gap.

This is a list of events where Himawari has a physical appearance. She also shows up as a doll in one event, but I can't remember its name.
"room with the clocks", "scientific research", "place she falls asleep at night", "glued to the sky", "three halves make a whole", " a life of prizes (dance party)", "beyond the reach of god", "ad meliora", "hiding in plain sight", "event with the japanese title", "untitled", "rough cuts", "hyzenthlay (not a physical appearance, but what she says as the narrator is relevant)", "fairytale (the end until tomorrow)", "flowerchild" (her reveal as a narrator).
Please take note that some of these require either cheating or green route (all events triggered), and can't be seen in replay (unless manually triggered through URM).

No, you'll need to download the entire game again, the patches only add the files between single versions, eg, 0.36->0.37 patch. Actually, i believe 0.28 is before the rework, so you'd have to redownload the game anyway as your version would throw errors sporadically even if you downloaded each sequential patch by digging through the release history.
If Sekai was just another victim in the past, this could honestly ruin her character for me.
Even before she started appearing as a ghost and puppeteering Akira once more, she was always a very scary entity for me, on par with the other Gods and angels
She always felt like more than just a predator, more than just a poet, more than just a mother. A genius who became a monster because of her twisted desires and fantasies, corrupting everyone around her, someone who would use and discard people on a whim, keeping Nozomu and Akira as her favorites. Someone who not even death was enough to get rid of her.
If she is just another victim who became the perpetrator/predator, that would be boring. the cycle of violence & abuse and revenge is bad and bla bla bla bla fuck that

I have written such a long post about this that I hardly have anything else to say. However, if we are to focus on how this can go into the future, well, I don't think it necessarily will go badly tbh. Which is not saying she'll be fixed by sex either. There's a middleground here.

On a serious note though, do you know what really disturbs me about Io's background? Her father. Cause from her explanation, he never participated (also because she's not afraid of men). And from "maybe he killed them both by now", he was not okay with it either. At least not fully. She doesn't say "maybe my mother killed herself", she says "maybe my father killed them both". I read this as her mother never repenting, but her father probably had visible enough guilt for her to consider this possibility. Yeah, another fucked up point in a fucked up story.

I don't know, I still think this is too much of a wish-fullthinking situation. I'm not saying you are delusional or wrong, but what I'm saying is that if Selebus decides to go down that route I might scoff at it.

This update must have done things to me.
With Niki having 2 upcoming events, her trying to move in, and also become a mother figure for Ami? Oh yeah. Plenty of potential drama there.
On a different note, I wonder how Akira or even Noriko will look at New Maya and approach her from now on… Akira now has a sliver of hope after his convo with Noriko at the convenience store, and Noriko… well… Noriko literally saw Maya Prime and visited the Wishing Well in DEN OF THE MOLE RAT.
To retread on some others’ thoughts, I think Noriko will be something special in the near future… An MVP of the chapter if you will:
