Lmao just noticed this reply after going back through my notifications because you didnt even tag me. Right anyways I didn't promise shit. The protagonist promised it and although I did attempt to follow his promise in that version of the game there was no way to actually do it so I made the logical conclusion that either this was part of his character and doing it would move the story forward. The game dev literally said that they would use any means to make you "feel bad" when I brought this up so he admitted to trapping was in his interest.
Also if anyone knows how to disable the thing where making 1 post in a thread means I get notified every single time someone posts that'd be great because I have like tons of notifications and barely any of them are relevant.
You ARE the protagonist. The player and player Sensei are one and the same. There actually IS a way out of that situation, just follow the promise. It's been a while, but by your mention of a promise tells me this is still in reference to the Chika/Rin lockout. In that case, yes, there is indeed a way to follow the promise, a way which has been the most posted statement in this game thread, don't do the trigger event, which, yes, can be avoided until it is safe to do said event.
The event does not trigger without going to the event's location, which simply means showing some restraint with the character the event is linked to.
I do believe that thing about the notifications is related to watching the thread through the watch function. I haven't used it and instead prefer to just keep the thread open at all times and manually checked daily for that reason, so I don't know for sure. All I know is I only get notifications if something was directed at me specifically.
Ok it is understandable that sex is not the only point of the game and I could still play this game even though it isn't. To be honest some scenes make me laugh and I want to stick around for more. I guess the biggest problem for me is that on the week days I have a hard time grinding or experiencing other moment(non-sexual) with the girls other than Makoto, Sana, and the sister, sorry I'm not good at remembering names. I know that you could also visit the dorms but for that you need to get their affection level to a certain degree and again I have trouble doing that when I can only see the other girls two out of seven days of the week. Any help or tips on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated. I just want to spend my time grinding for the specific events involving my favorite characters, the delinquent, Chika, and the librarian.
Keep bringing their affection up in any way you can, the dorms unlock at a pretty low amount, which means a new source of affection levels. Affection is the only stat needed for non lust events, so the non lust events will trigger in time.
Remember that all events are at increments of 5 of the needed stat. Also remember that some character's events are prerequisites for other character's events. Even if you are not playing for some characters, you should be grinding them all as equally as possible so you don't put yourself in a situation where you're stuck or locked out of one of the characters you want because an event for that character is locked out or an event for another character that is needed for an event for one of your characters is locked.
Also remember that an event is not locked if it is not red, but some might still be too late if it needs a stat at a certain level on a certain day.
