I can't really say I care about her but I do like her. I can imagine at some point some event or new direction that makes her more relevant jumping her up the list for me like what's happened with Osako but right now she just barely feels like a presence in the game.

Going to double or triple post, been afk for a bit and I tried ignoring older posts and went mad. This way I can hit the points I want to while the thread can hit the next page if it needs to.
The game will never reach a point where Akira says don't touch children, is bad mkay? It's showing you a story about a disturbed man who has touched them, with varying amounts of "this could happen in real life" and a lot of "this would never happen in real life". It's supposed to be compelling, not mere propoganda.
Here is one of the better links to dark route and purity route info. You're inferring too much from the name. Just think of it as a big event chain for each character where they get to be focused on instead of Sensei being a fuccboi manwhore. They're going to be longer than the typical 20 events per normal update, he's going to recycle previous images where he can to save work, and he's gonna abandon the typical update schedule for "When it's done" complete character purity route updates.
There's been multiple flags that show you're expected to see every event, and choices that skip events might get a tiny reference in text but will never lead to a new scene. Missed events show up with red text and we call that red path. All events showing green is green path.
I made a VLC playlist of all the music in the game that I like enough to listen to at random. It's a pity that the songs are saved as absolute locations on a hard drive and not just relative paths or I'd share it. I can share filenames after a few minutes of figuring out how to strip everything else though.

I'd say there's been one important difference. On green path Io attempts to give Akira a handjob before he shuts her down, or to rephrase things, she's willing to push herself out of her comfort zone and tries to overcome her trauma. Meanwhile on red path she's happily sitting in her box changing nothing because Akira won't do anything to her and nothing else is worth fighting her trauma for.

Like Pedro said, Green path: Sadness now, happiness later. I'm convinced that we get Maya back at the end of chapter 4, with the caveat that chapter 4 is not ending next update even with the reset it will contain. Infinite Spring = we're here until Sel has squeezed enough story out of pre-loop Maya and maybe what's happening at the beach.At the time I was under the impression that the green path was the "true" path. But that action really REALLY didn't sit right with me. So I took a long break and waited for more content to see where things were going. Now I am playing again because I have a sneaking feeling green doesn't necessarily mean good.
Plus Sel took my Maya away and hurt my reason for living let alone keep playing
No one's really mentioned it, but Maya doesn't wear her bell at school and school functions. There might be some inconsistencies because Sel isn't that meticulous about continuity (He almost let Ayane wear the scarf that Himawari took during the latest Sara bar scenes) but he's also referenced Nu Maya getting frustrated at trying to put the collar back on like she doesn't have infinity years of experience wearing it.
It's implied to be something she's wearing for Akira's sake. Whether it's purely a sexual thing or something a little more innocent / love driven as hinted at, we don't know for sure yet and probably won't until we hear about loli maya's past.
If we're trusting Pareidolia's word, which frankly we shouldn't*, they've helped Akira a bunch in ways that is easier to point at. They've also claimed that Wires is the reason Sensei Lavender Greened Molly.
*Why is a god supposedly born of Akira who supposedly died now living on in Yumi?
Subscribestar is the first patreon-like that people are directed to when they want to start adding loli to their games. There's also fanbox and ci-en. I don't think anything major is happening to them yet.

Be more specific. My 0.51 file has 180 hours logged but I've known about the game for years.

A full playthrough up to where we are now will probably run you 150-180 hours (depending on if you miss content due to choices, how fast a reader you are, if you skip through certain things like sex scenes or happy events, etc.)
In my case I have (almost) four finished playthroughs with each running me around 160 hours so I've spent a good 600+ hours on it lol

Akira didnt chose to be with Sekai and Maya. Sekai died so he left Niki. He saw Maya who was similar in a similar condition as him, and tried to recreate the relationship between him and Sekai. But his time Akira was playing the role of predator.
