It is Recovery (Yuki's Theme). And it is perfect for both Yuki and my relationship with this game. Both has some rough times in the past but every new update makes me a little happier in an organic way that some syntetic drug cannot imitate.

I don't listen to it as much as "good morning" and "little bunny" but when i think about lil, Recovery starts at the back of my mind. And realising this fact made me want to check the name of the music and create this mod. (later upgraded by SlidingSubject and shmurfer)

It's very strange. I'm actually replaying from Chapter 2 right now trying to hammer down exactly when the shift happens, because she's still an innocent, naive girl and the reactions seem normal.

(Also, Ami shows absolutely no indication of being aware of time loops at this point so the chapter 4 reveal feels like a hamfisted retcon but this is just my opinion)
I’m doing the same thing: replaying the game from the start and taking notes specifically on the moments where Ami seems to show knowledge of the resets, moments where she clearly doesnt act like she has that knowledge, and moments where she might know but is maybe hiding it. And honestly, the possibilities I’m seeing are… fucking conflicting.
That said, I want to wait until I finish all of Chapter 2 before posting my full thoughts. It would probably be even better if I replayed the entire game first, but my notes are already getting pretty long and rambling. At least I’m about three-quarters of the way through Chapter 2 now.

From what i remember from the latest chapters, Sana has always been like that, she just didn’t have the self-confidence to act on her fantasies in the early chapters (because she really was fucking shy). She couldn’t bring herself to break socially imposed norms, at least not until she met Sensei, not so differently from Haruka.
Sana was also held back by the fear of becoming like her mother, an idea she despised, even though she takes after her 100%. And that’s not even mentioning everything involving her brother, the gods talking to her and her mom... there’s so much going on in her family.

Also Nodoka’s “sex radar” immediately pegged Sana as a total freak the moment she met her. Always trust in Nodoka.

My favourite is Yasu's adorable little rendition but the first song I think of would probably be Good Morning or 10C depending on what type of miserable I am that day lol
Yasusings is such a vibe

It's interesting that you mention the shift, because I too noticed that she seemingly flipped.

I think we need to consider that her, and her mother, are both mildly schizophrenic. They both mention seeing Sana's brother, on top of the various "Gods" that are running around and causing havoc. Sana obviously thought she was crazy.

During one of the first Sana Dates, Akira and Sana meet Yasu, and Yasu hints to Sana that the things she is hearing from her brother are real. Sana cries a bit, I think?

If this event triggered her to believe everything her 'Brother' has been telling her, AND the things the "Gods" have been telling her, there is no telling how badly this could have damaged her psyche.

I know that at some point she shifts her ultimate fantasy from being raped by multiple strangers, to specifically Sensei. This happens when she finally starts having him walk her home. Sensei even remarks to himself that it was the first time she didn't turn him down for walking her to the dorms.

Finally: There was the summer event where Sana is seemingly in "Heat" and trying to hold back the horny, but failing terribly. That happens post all of the above, so I think she always had it in her, but the various events conspired to 'activate' things more for her. She's close to her "Fantasy" in Sensei, now, and is practically salivating for it.

Add in the crazy shit she sees and is told by supernatural entities? It makes sense she'd fall to degeneracy, including her mother.

Oh I absolutely agree with you on this and probably will stay that way until the day Selly does decide to deliver Ami Prime’s side of the story in full because, what he’s doing now with the “Ami knows everything all along since Day1” just isn’t working for me. Glittering questionably hectic shit sporadically in Ami’s genuine moments to justify the very specific sharp turn you’d be making in the future is not going to work for me. But hey what do I know I’m just another guy.

We can agree that Selly does and should have something planned for Ami but if the plan is that, he needs to work on being a lot more convincing. And a part of that convincing involves answering the question why Ami decides to show her true and highly vicious colors now rather than just keep feigning ignorance, playing along, blocking out, or whatever plot-convenient shit she does to remain incognito. What’s in for Ami now to join the game and what triggered it anyway? Maya’s death? Ami’s own strange death by the end of Ch3? Ami’s accidental stabbing in Ch4? Or did Ami get the director’s call saying “hey it’s time to equip a completely different personality matrix before you get into Ch4 because this shows really needs to get a move on”?

You may very well know or have considered this already but seeing as Yuu is the protagonist in Nothing Is Beautiful and in Nothing Is Beautiful, Yuu suffers similar psycho-visual and surreal mental difficulties to Akira, I'd figure the line was in reference to that. We've seen other people break from reality in all sorts of ways, but nobody gets quite a show when it happens like Akira does - and Yuu.
Okay, so, I effectively went through an entire mini-arc while trying to gather my thoughts on how to respond to your comment.

My first reaction was an excited "holy shit, this makes so much sense, I can't believe I never thought of that myself, seems very obvious in retrospect", and I had an entire rant prepared on how me being ETL (English third language, basically self-taught) lead me to mistakenly believe that the line "born to someone who understood" could *only* refer to the mother, Saki, and never even consider that it could have been referring to Yuu instead. I felt like quite an idiot for a moment there.

But then I actually went into my notes to re-check the specifics of what Yasu says in "Frankincense & Myrrh", and the *full* quote actually goes like this:

“[…] you are the product of something wonderful. You learned to crawl in the light of someone who understood the importance of that light. If you listen closely, you’ll hear her voice. She whispers your name. Reminds you of a time when things were better. Before that light began to dim and you were forced to crawl in the dark instead.”

Now, there are two potential counterpoints to this interpretation that I can already envision, and I’ll try to preempt them here:

It changes all the time for me. Recently I'm on a bit of a All that's left are stars binge, if I want to turn it off I need to make it to the "and oh my GOD, I need you back" part first.
I tried listening to that song a little; jesus christ, the creator is SO white, it's kinda endearing in some way. I guess the moment it plays is nice in context, but i wouldn't wish that taste in music onto my worst enemy lmao

That song led me to the original band (Days to Waste) and I’ve been going down that rabbit hole ever since. Never knew I had an emo music self within me until now

I actually find it completely believable, but not for any obvious reasons. I have two Ami theories that I've been kicking around as things have progressed

Some of this may be out of order, but that's mostly how I remember it all happening as far as timelines go.

In regards to "why Ami decides to show her true and highly vicious colors now rather than just keep feigning ignorance, playing along, blocking out, or whatever plot-convenient shit she does to remain incognito" – I think the reason for that is pretty simple, actually. It only *seems* strange and complicated because people are looking at it from the perspective of meta/narrative significance rather than just normal psychology and character writing, seeking some hidden ploy or a 5D-chess move made by Selebus where there is none. Now, the usual disclaimers of “it’s just my interpretation” and “I am not insisting that everyone who thinks otherwise is wrong” aside, here’s the long and short of it:

I think we need to consider that her, and her mother, are both mildly schizophrenic. They both mention seeing Sana's brother, on top of the various "Gods" that are running around and causing havoc. Sana obviously thought she was crazy.
It's not really schizophrenic if they're actually there though. Now why exactly the gods have some mild interest in them would be interesting to think about, there's already been imagery of one of them being an angel, and angels are a concept that have been hinted at in the world before.

As for the recent discussion about Ami maybe having known since Chapter 1, Sel reiterated Makoto's role in telling Ami about the apocalypse and resets during 0.54. While we won't have any concrete evidence of what that means until he just tells us, it means it's not a forgotten / abandoned plot point like some of the others.

My assumption here is that he's her dad, her mom had mentioned an Akira being her dad, but since she's crazy, no one ever really listens.
When does Kyoko say that Nodoka's father is called Akira? Also, it's established by "perfect hair forever" that Nodoka's his little sister. Not that it's an established fact by him saying it, but it is established that he did call her that (and not daughter).

There's more to the event but it starts to get cryptic.

Edit: With the jealous cloud thing, I do wonder sometimes if the answer towards Ami has been staring us in the face all along in the sense that maybe she isn't real (like she didn't exist outside of the resets). This really doesn't have enough evidence, it's just a stray thought. This one had a bit of merit before the Maya reveal, now not really much.
