You got me completely wrong, mate. I don't need instant sex. Quite the opposite. I want a good story with a good build-up. In this update, however, there is no real story. At least, in the sense that matters. It's just a short episode that doesn't really move forward and has nothing of value aside from sexual content. After the last update that was very heavy on the story, drama and actually fleshed out characters really well, I just judge by the standards that this game set for itself.
And it's a really safe position to have, I assume, to dismiss any opinions with critique in it as "complaining". Are only positive opinions allowed here? Let me ask you this: if you have nothing to add to my actual points (agree/disagree/prove me wrong etc), why bother posting replies with intention of shutting everyone up who don't praise this update for having a bare minimum? I would actually like it better if this update had no choices at all but had more story content. And stop assuming everyone's age, okay? Especially on this 18+ platform. It will save you from being perceived as arrogant.
Okay, 1st, im not shutting you or any other people down. 2nd, I generally reply to help people in their problems. I helped you by telling you that "there is no point in complaining here" since the dev will either barely notice it or not even notice it at all. So I suggested that it's better if you contact him on patreon. At what part is reminding you, and/or giving you a heads up "shutting" someone up? Would you rather type everything here and has a 1% chance of being noticed? Or will you contact him in patreon and that very "critique" you're saying will instantly get slapped in his face for them to notice immediately and they will work in adjustments on what you like or dislike? Again, analyze what i said. I even told you to please "not misunderstand me". 3rd, there's nothing being arrogant about it since i wasn't assuming your age now was I? I said when you reach "adulthood". This is not age but a stage in life. Because generally this is the stage where everything starts to snap and make sense. It can be early adulthood or mid adulthood. That's the part in life when you'll understand why the fuck your parents or other people give a huge deal when they won over some kitchen appliances over a raffle as if they've won $1000000
"It's just a short episode that doesn't really move forward and has nothing of value aside from sexual content. After the last update that was very heavy on the story, drama and actually fleshed out characters really well, I just judge by the standards that this game set for itself." everything has its due. It will get boring if the dev only satisfies one side. Some here like the story and some just want the intimate sex scenes. If you post all sex scenes or all dramatic story in update after update, it wont make it balanced. Besides im pretty sure he already has that set up in his or their storyboard
Next time please read and analyze first on what people say and understand the tone of the statement because there are times where the writer is saying that in a calm fashion while the reader may perceive it as a threat or he may think that the writer is telling him/her to fuck off which was never what the writer meant (
like when your teacher thinks the author's blue meant sadness when the author literally meant blue as blue), instead of assuming that you're being shut down just because someone is giving a word on you. only 6 year olds do that when their parents are trying to teach them a lesson. now am i really the one who's being arrogant?
No, but what would motivate me to explore other choices in that particular short episode? To grope/not grope daughter? To act serious or like a horny 12-year old? In a scene where she's just supposed to give you a swimming lesson? How are those choices relevant at all? To see what kind of reward I'm getting at the end? These are the most arbitrary choices I have ever seen.
also, remember this?
YOU told me that u liked the dramatic story but then you didn't even make the effort to continue to explore the other choices because you're not "motivated" . Each path and choice have different outcomes (at least most of them) and different dialogues going in different paths in maybe future builds. How will you understand future dramatic content if you don't explore all those choices? Please don't make yourself look like a hypocrite. If what you're saying is true, then exploring those choices for future "dramatic" storyline (as you call it) is enough for you to motivate yourself
My apologies if i sounded like an asshole after all this. I really am not, but if that's what you'll think, then im sorry
