i have only had that problem a few times and those times it was stated that saves wouldn't work. maybe its the way you DL or unpack the game.

This has nothing to do with download or unpacking .. see on pages before how many other people have the same problem.. If it was bad downloaded or unpacked it would not even start ..

and for every 1 person saying they have probloms there are 100s that dont have any maybe your OS dosn't work the best with it
Weird game. There was more action in those dreams then that island.
Why are they on that island anyway, What contract did they sign or were they drugged?
Having a flashlight and no clue how to use it. Did they forget how a lighthouse works?
She can't be left alone. She's accident prone or suicidal. I don't know which.
All those choices leading to death. Was that really necessary?
They have a saw, a hammer, nails if they tear down that pier and use all that wood.
They could build a boat with all those tools, but instead they want to build another hut.
And those pirates or whatever circulating the island hoping he's dumb to turn on the beacon.
They didn't even collect water when it was raining. I just hope the next chapter makes more sense.....peace.

I'm on Windows 10 - 64 Bit why should that be a problem? But ..forget it i tried some 20 saves and finally found one that worked.. and went on from there..

so its the devs fault that your saves and a few other pepoles saves don't work but what about everyone the saves work fine for?
obviously its somthing you few pepole are doing compared to the masses that don't have problomes

Not necessarily. The dev made a few changes with the saves, so that some versions ago the old saves did not work anymore. But then he made some additional changes there, so that the very old saves workes again and the old saves did not work anymore. So if mizilic's saves are old enough, this might explain the problem. Most other players most probably did not have a version gap large enough to cause problems, because the last few versions the previous saves worked and only older saves did not work, but much older saves worked again.

he was just being a dick about it i told him about saves not working a few times but he wanted to blame the dev for save never working

If you are referring to me: I never wrote that saves where never working. It is just a fact that during a few versions the dev seems to have changed something about the saves repeatedly, so that for a few versions the old saves did not work and you had to restart. It was even written in the opening post. Since the dev returned to the original save format or content (or whatever the reason was) and seems to have kept it, the old saves are working now, except those from this special period. It was the time when karma was added to the game and then removed again. Please be so kind and check the fact before insulting someone!

Got a feeling this game may be ending/abandoned soon. No proof, pure speculation. But the way it took so long to finally do the deed is not necessarily unique compared to some other devs but definitely telling. He could easily finish the game now in the next update. Reminds me of the situation with the game Two Weeks where the dev ran out of ideas (on how to milk his patreons) so he rushed the ending.
If you are one of his patreons and feel you are being milked, you have every right to complain -- on Patreon since that is an issue for that web site to address. If, on the other hand you are getting the game for free on this site, why are you acting like you know how others feel about this developer?
Your "feeling" that the game may be abandoned has as much basis in reality as the idea the sun revolves around the earth -- no substantial evidentiary support. As far as ending: if the dev chooses to end it with the next update, that's the dev's business. They've done the deed and while it may be a disappointing end, the rescue boat can now go pick them up. The chemical additives in the booze are proven to work in controlled situations.
Have a little patience, the world is in chaos at the moment and there may be things in the dev's life that matter more than this game, as there is with many.

Devs are human. I understand. So am I. These are trying times for all of humanity. With that being said...
I also have the freedom to speculate. Again, if you read the quote you'll see that I stated "Pure speculation" meaning its not based off of any solid information or concrete evidence. I simply have studied this devs trends as well as other devs on this site. It's simply a "hunch" not gossip or inciting negativity. If I need to be a Patreon to have an opinion then I suppose we should start charging people to breathe oxygen also.
Pirated or not we can have opinions. The "pirated" versions of these games are basically demos for these devs. Games like Acting Lessons received a bunch of patreons later (After it was nearly completed BEFORE THE ENDING) on because of all the feedback from forums like these. I would be livid if I were an initial supporter and this dev decided to cheap out and milk my bucks.
Something more important than money is time. We all have spent time on these games. I'd rather not waste my time on a lazy devs game hence why a warning from a review or thread is so important. Don't believe me, read the early reviews about how terrible this games mechanics were with a "suicide" meter. People stopped wasting their time with this game but some users mentioned that it had potential. Fast forward to now and you'll see some of the same users commenting on how the game has improved.
That's valid unbiased criticism is my book regardless if they support on Patreon or not. I come here for the porn but I stay for the objectivity.
