Are you sure you are on the right thread? In addition to only having two games in development, this game gets updated regularly, every 3-5 months.

That is true, but 200-400 renders sized update every 3-5 months for a game that has been in production for four years now isn’t really the best way to go and is obviously going to get some criticism. Thanks to Inceton Games taking charge, the new game Red Falls gets 1000-1400+ renders for each update, but this has been left to hang and dry.

Also it doesn't look like this month we're having an update. I just don't understand why don't they just finish this off once and for all than pulling it.

I wouldn't hold my breath for January update either, that is true.
The reason why they don't just finish this off is simply business reasons. It looks better for them if they have two games in the production at the same time (because there are many who don't know that Lewd Island strikes 4 years in couple days), and it is also a reason for the supporters to keep themselves invested in them as they know that at least one of the games will get some content while waiting for the other to get some. This is the exact same business strategy that Inceton is using at the moment in their main studio where they have three games in the production at the same time, so it was only natural that they pushed the same strategy for xRed studio too once they took over. And hey, that strategy is working like a dream with xRed studio also. Last year xRed started off with just over 390 patrons and currently they have more than 1300 patrons. Ending Lewd Island would mean that they would need to come up with another completely new game to replace Lewd Island, so why bother with so much effort and trouble when they can just keep milking the old goose for much longer.
