Also it doesn't look like this month we're having an update. I just don't understand why don't they just finish this off once and for all than pulling it.
I wouldn't hold my breath for January update either, that is true.

The reason why they don't just finish this off is simply business reasons. It looks better for them if they have two games in the production at the same time (because there are many who don't know that Lewd Island strikes 4 years in couple days), and it is also a reason for the supporters to keep themselves invested in them as they know that at least one of the games will get some content while waiting for the other to get some. This is the exact same business strategy that Inceton is using at the moment in their main studio where they have three games in the production at the same time, so it was only natural that they pushed the same strategy for xRed studio too once they took over. And hey, that strategy is working like a dream with xRed studio also. Last year xRed started off with just over 390 patrons and currently they have more than 1300 patrons. Ending Lewd Island would mean that they would need to come up with another completely new game to replace Lewd Island, so why bother with so much effort and trouble when they can just keep milking the old goose for much longer.

Feb 25, 2018 was around when I first started playing the game and Dec 26, 2020 was around when I stopped playing the game.

Makes sense. But honestly 4 years, damn!

This is a discussion forum, not a fansite where everyone just tells how good the game is in robotic manners. Discussion includes goods and bads, and unfortunately this game currently has more bads than goods. The shady stuff behind the scenes adds the bad even more, and it is quite important thing to bring out when talking about development cycle etc. stuff. Whiteknighting ain't gonna change the facts.

So, your sole reason for having this game on 'watch' is to jump in at every opportunity to discuss how bad it is?

Personally, I have this game on 'watch' because I'm interested in reading actual news about the game. I have no interest in discussions of whether a game is good or bad, once the game has become established, unless a new release comes out that might challenge my previous belief. i especially have no interest in arguing with someone about the merits of a game, since it is useless. Personal taste is personal and inarguable.

When I find that a game has turned into something I dislike, I stop playing it and remove it from my 'watch' list. Why would I waste the time I could be using to play good games in trolling games I no longer like?

No. My sole reason for having this game on "watch" is to see when there is next update, and then quite possibly discuss about it. Meanwhile, I'm discussing about the game, it's production and the developer as it is intended to be done on this forum.

You have no interest in discussions of whether a game is good or bad or merits of the game, then simply just stay out of them. That's what I do too for most of the time. But you originally answered to a comment that was deservedly criticising the shady backgrounds of this studio and the current slow progress of the production for this game, and I further explained why it was and answered to comments that followed after that. Then you commented it was "badmouthing it at every opportunity" and "some people having interesting hobbies to occupy their time", when it was far from the truth.

And the last point you make is true and good advice. I still enjoy the Season 1 of this game, and I would like to see how this one actually ends, but currently it's not in the horizon unfortunately, when even the next version is not in horizon yet.

Bruh, you're the one arguing now! We were discussing about why it's getting delayed, not why the game is bad and btw no one said that the game is bad. Idk why people think anything ' discussed ' is bad mouthing the game

I feel the dev didn't have a precise idea of the story when he started to game. For instance i remember he started to implement a kind of score, linked to the daughter mind, but then he dropped this feature.

When the MC had finally sex with the daughter, the dev didn't know exactly how to continue the story and lost interest in the game.

I think the story was ok until they got on the boat. Love the MC daughter scenes but stories kinda faded.
Agreed and have said this many times, this should have stuck to the island like Cast Away and made it a porn survival. The instinct to survive and a young girl misplacing her feelings for a goof having to be an alpha in order to survive.

But instead we got drugs/alcohol/rape some weird shit with a funny looking black pimp hosting this event and an almost retcon of the alcohol/rape story as D decides that's not the case and insists on true feelings.

I'll say it a thousand times more...should have stuck with the island...you're trying to overcomplicate your VN for no reason, it doesn't translate well with what you're showing us.

Whether they stuck to the island or not, the drugs and alcohol events were there from the beginning. They were not added on as some afterthought. So, one way or another the discovery of those drugs and why they were there were going to have to be explained. I also seem to recall some flashback scenes that don't fit into any porn survival mode. A pure porn survival game would have omitted 2/3 of the plot that was developed over the first season.

I love a good porn survival game, but this game was NEVER just that. Not even close.

What are the scenes that have NTR? MC's daughter? I remember that there is a flashback, where MC choose to call or not his daughter, and when I chose to call, shows her fucking a dude... is that the scene? And if you don't call, is it good? Or you need to call?

Aah, got it. So, there are these 2 scenes? Flashback and captain? The scene with the captain, MC can see (or we as player can see) or she tells him that she fucked the captain?
Once the boat part begins it opens up ntr more. I stopped playing after I found out the mc was a rich power bad guy and not the guy I met on the island, but the boat reeks of ntr bait all over imo...
