Let me give you some insight. I personally play these games because I like games & I find them entertaining. Same reason why I play other games where you slaughter enemy NPC's by the truckload, & I think the same goes for most of the others here. If we all wanted fap material, we would just watch porn or something. Now for those that do get off on incest content, I think I can also speak for most of the sane ones when I say that RL incest isn't something that they themselves would want any part of. I have a daughter myself & I can tell you from experience that if I was stuck on an island with her, sex would NEVER be something that would be happening with her. EVER. When you have kids of your own, you don't look at them in a sexual way. It just doesn't happen, regardless of how attractive they may be. For me, the idea of sex with my own kid turns my stomache. That is the difference between games & real life.

See when you spend 16, 17, 18, etc... years raising a kid from birth until X age, there is a lot of daily personal & emotional bonding that happens. & the reality is, even when they are grown up, you still see them as the little kids they were because YOU WERE THERE & RAISED THEM. So for most people, there is a complete psychological disconnect between their daughters & any kind of sexual arousal. Shit, I have a friend who's been a pornstar for the last 15 years. By all objective standards she is very attractive, but anything even remotely involving sex with her makes me cringe because it clashes so much with the person that I have known & bonded with. This is where Dating My Daughter created a tiny bit of plausibility. The father never really saw the daughter grow up, she just shows up on his door step a hot 18 year old. Likewise the daughter had no meaningful interaction with the father prior to showing up on his door step. They keep reminding each other of their family relation to keep the incest plot alive, but there is very little true connection to the pair as father daughter before meeting.
