Day 7 Dawn is just a pair of dream sequences that did not advance the story at all. Seemed like more cash cow milking to me.did i miss something ?

Ah I see just not used to seeing games that are fairly popular like this not get updated straight away, usually there are some $20/30 patreons that come to post it on forums like this. I'll just have to wait till the 16th then. Thanks for the quick reply.
I'm just guessing based off of the past releases of this game which were after the $10 release

as popular as it is... lots of peoples feel a no-no about paying more than 10$ for it.
i guess mostly because of the update speed and content. wich compared to some others games around is pretty small and not progress alots in the story.
i guess lots of peoples have their "limit" calculated about the amount of money they give to a dev based on the speed and content amount released.
and this one progress slowly with not big update honestly.

the walkthrough is needed to know if an action has or doesn't have consequences. Unlike you, i don't like to play a game over, and over and over again. Not this type of game! But, hey, if you watch porn to know if they stay together in the end...that's your issue!
cause this kinda games stay in development usually more than year, sometimes two years(which is $100-200), I do not think any of these games cost in development more than Fallout or Battlefield or any other "big" games that usually cost no more than $70.
I can also see how lots of developers start development and then slowly start to slow process down, so first 5 month development has more content than 12 month later, even if they claim that they will be hiring more people and process suppose to be faster than in first months, I dump support for those pretty fast.
hu ho.. that's an unfair comparison....
sure at final this game can cost like 300$ while a battlefield will cost 200 with tons of pay dlcs in it.
but keep in mind that thoses battlefiedl and else have a crew of hundreds of professional devs and hundreds of millions $$$ of budget for be done.
cant compare this with a few devs that doesnt have millions of budget for make a game. well, even at 1K/month, the comparison is not fair.
but yeah, its right in the sens that i see some games with less gain on patreon putting out bigger content and great quality stuff.
in my honest opinion, i think up to 400$/month, you able to do shit tons of stuff of great quality. specially when you get that (or more) for multiples months or even a year.
