I'm not the dev and am unaffiliated with this game, I have no clue.
Since you're not the only one with the text issue, I'm assuming it's probably a bug with latest version, so maybe a bugfix will be released soon.
For the folder, it's definitely there, so maybe it's playing hide & seek and you just haven't found it yet; keep looking.

why are u so rude? i ask nicely where in renpy i can find saves from Life in Santa County, please don t be rude, i don t tolerate and permit to anyone this.

I started it again and so far so good (with patch included). It is an immense joy not to have that idiot Ron as a presenter!!!

why i can t start again from 0 this game? is so lame. where i can find previous update like v0.8.1? cause of this update i lost my entire previous save and all steps make it until now.. is not fair

They will release new update maybe it will work ok and they give WT!
For f95 WT you can look Here ,they will release it when it be ready.

You can start new game but they changed whole intro in game so everything is changed! You cant use old save file!
Just wait...

to wait for? cause they change'd everythin and cause of them, like i told before i lost my entire full save and was one a amazing save
