I agree. I am not nearly principled enough to let whether the art is traced or not stand in the way of enjoying a good porn game.

When it comes to tracing like this game and GGGB does, then yes it indeed require some actual skill to make it look good. I could probably not manage to make it look nearly as good as this game and GGGB does. The problem however is when the artist does not give proper credit to the people who deserves it. If anyone would trace from my game, I'd be pretty upset. If they however properly credited me, then I would welcome it.Ditto.
Frankly, I can't understand the current trend of 'tracing-phobia'. Even tracing implies a good amount of effort and artistry.
On the one hand, I think EvaKiss' game is more polished and s/he is a more accomplished storyteller. The level of replayability of GGGB is still unbeated (imho - and it was so also in v0.1), even though the story in itself is really basic.
On the other hand, I think Echidna is more comfortable with drawings, especially for face expressions. His game is simpler and yet effective. It feels more urgent (or, one can say, more 'ecchi'!), so maybe there would be a pacing problem in the future, who knows.
At any rate, they currently are - along with Jessica O'Neal - among my favorite VNs
The second issue is when people claim that this is completely their creation, when in fact it is not. I think that when you are a game developer/artist, you should be as honest as you can with the people that support you.
Like I stated previously in this thread. If you do these 2 things: Give credit and being honest about tracing. Then I don't mind the fact.
Although if I myself would trace. I would probably contact the people whose images I use. Because for them, crediting might not be enough. They may not want to have their stuff traced at all. Since they may want to protect their art.
I'm not saying that you can't/shouldn't enjoy these types of game. In fact, I think that they should continue developing their game since it clearly brings enjoyment to a lot of people, which I'm all for. However, I want people to understand how this may be damaging and it is not something that should be taken too lightly. So if they handle tracing responsibly, then for sure, keep tracing.

Interesting, let's see how good it is. GGGB is good but has its flaws, for example purposefully avoiding (the only content there was has been basically rendered useless) sub/dom or soft blackmail topics. The main character is basically always active, and never gets into situations where she has no or little control. That's weak, and boring after a while.
