It's not just the translation that would make me stick with 3.0.22 if I could only have one version, it's the mod pack and extra things it's patch does. If the UI was a issue though there is patch from LegionMP, and tfpatchguy has just started updating theirs again. See the 4.0.6 post for links and instructions.
Someone was just complaining about them. I can't get to the download page, ignoring the warning just leads to nothing.
I can't check using my emulator but the 4.0.6 port from Himiko-S should have a zoom setting in the main menu.
Everything I can think of about 4.0.6 is in the post linked under its downloads. The 3.0.22 there with everything has all the mods installed. There is more translation available for 4.0.6 now, but I would go with 3.0.22 personally.
I might be dumb but that's just a rabbit hole of links... don't you have the direct link to the download for the translation? my game is still buggy and part-japanese...
3.0.22 with everything installed is in the opening post, it's translation patch also has some fixes for the buggyness.
Think 3.0.22 does, but no mods for 4.0.6 at all. Posts getting moved and deleted shift the links, check the info and modpack .txt files in

There is a Tyrano and Teaching Feeling folder in Appdata/Roaming, and a Tyrano folder in /Local. If you don't know how to get there use %appdata% in the Windows search bar in the taskbar.
